𝐖𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐃 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍

Chapter 11

As soon as I said those two words, Steve hung up on me and moments later I see the Quinjet racing though the sky. It lands nearby me and the Avengers rush over. A blue light shines through the sky coming from Thanos' ship, and once it disappears, the mad Titan himself is standing there with his gauntlet. I gasp in fear, knowing that he is possibly about to get the weapon.

"Ivy you have to leave, he thinks you are no more than a student here, go" Thor tells me. I nod and grab my bag and start racing towards shelter. But the ground in front of me hoists out from its place, causing me to stop in my tracks. I slowly turn towards Thanos to see his hand with the gauntlet on it raised, and the Space Stone glowing. I then realise, that I have to fight.

"Ivy Infinity," Thanos says as he walks towards me and the Avengers. My heart starts beating rapidly fast, I almost think I'm going to pass out.

"How do you know her!" Thor exclaims, shocked. Thanos grins and chuckles, continuing to close the gap of safety between us. He stops when he's about ten metres from us. I stagger back, eager to get away, but I run into something hard, something strong. I turn around, to see Loki. Fear and worry is evident on his face, along with... pain? 

"Ivy I'm so sorry" Loki says before pulling me into a hug. Sorry? What's he sorry for? As he releases me I glance over at Thor to see a shocked expression on his face, it looks like he's realised something.

"Brother-" 

"Not now Thor, we have a bigger problem" Loki says cutting him off. I frown. What does he mean? Am I a problem?

"Loki Laufeyson, I see you're still alive" Thanos says annoyingly.

"It's Odinson thank you very much" he spits and I see in the corner of my eye, Thor smiling.

"What do you want from us?" Cap chimes in.

"I'm not entirely sure yet, but I know it's something big," he says looking down at his gauntlet. "And it has to do with her" he finishes as he looks up at me. 

"Well, you'll never know" I say as he chuckles again.

"That's what you said to me the last time we encountered each other, before you killed yourself" he says and I frown. My heart feels like its stopped, but I'm still breathing. Killed myself? I look around at the Avengers to see them all frowning at me, just as confused as I am, everyone except Loki.

"Alright, it's time for you to leave," Tony says. "Surprised?" 

"Hmf, you're still alive as well, how wonderful" Thanos says sarcastically. "Tell me what you're hiding."

"No," everyone says in unison.

"We can do this the easy way, or the hard way, it's your decision" Thanos says as he begins to walk towards us again.

"We. Will. Never. Tell. You" I say as he nears us with every step. Seven metres.

"Fine then I guess I'll have to do this the hard way" he says as his pace quickens. Four metres. He walks towards Tony who charges up his power, but then Thanos changes his direction and starts running towards me. One metre, shit.

"AAAARGH" he shouts as he jumps up and starts descending down to punch me. But I make a shield using my space powers sending him flying back. He ungracefully lands on the ground with a grunt and everyone starts running towards him. I start a light jog before starting to sprint. I can see Cap already punching him in the head before getting flung to the side of the field, along with everyone else. 

Thor summons his thunder to strike him, but he creates a shield, then he grabs Thor by the neck and throws him through a window in the school building. 

"Everyone, don't forget the plan" I hear Stark say through my earpiece while watching him shoot at him with missiles. Seconds later, he too is defeated. Everyone is down and Thanos has his eyes on me.

He uses the space stone to bring me towards him but I blast him away with Power. He continues to throw tricks at me using the stones but I easily deflect them and use them to backlash at him. I see Cap running up behind him and I shoot at Thanos with a blast to catch him off guard. It works and Cap whacks him in the head with all his might. Thanos then turns around and throws a punch at Steve but he gets distracted by Rhodes and Stark shooting missiles at him. 

The Wakandan soldier whos name I have figured out to be Okoye, throws her spear at Thanos from behind and it pierces through his back causing him to groan in pain. Black Widow starts to hack at Thanos with her batons but she is soon hit back by Thanos, causing her to fall unconscious. I desperately want to help her, but I need to fight the ugly purple grape in front of me. I see Okoye go to retrieve her spear, but she is flown high up into the air by Thanos' powers and then left to fall to the ground. She too is defeated. 

"AAAARGH" I hear Thanos shout as Thor burns him with a lightning blast. Cap once again punches Thanos in the head and Iron Man and War Machine are continuously shooting at Thanos, desperate to penetrate his skin. I decide to make myself useful as I lift Thanos up into the air and I send him flying back down, but on the way he blasts energy at me and I fly into the school wall. I fall down and groan in pain.

"Ivy!" I hear Loki shout, where did he go when we were fighting? "Ivy are you alright?" He asks crouching over me.

"Yep, I'm fine, just a few bruises here and there," I say sitting up. Loki nods and turns to look at the fight. I can see everyone being sent across the field at a menacing speed. I wait for everyone to get up, but only Thor and Tony do. Steve and Rhodes are down.

"Ivy, it's time to get the people" Loki says as he turns to me before walking towards Thanos. I nod and create a portal to the Soul Realm. Before I step in, I glance at Loki to see him create multiple illusions of himself, but Thanos uses Reality to show the real him. Thor throws his axe at Thanos and it pierces into his arm. I then see Loki stab him in the chest with a dagger causing Thanos to double over in pain.

That's all I see before I walk through the portal.

Ta-da! I'm really sorry, I personally don't think this chapter is very good, but let me know what you think, because like, idk man. Chapter 12 will come in time, not sure when, but I'm currently on holidays at Noosa and then when I get back home I'm going to Melbourne for almost a week so I have no idea when I'm gonna publish next. But I will try my best to make it as soon as possible.
