The day after the trip to Gemini's, Libra was happier. Even if she was getting married, it didn't seem horrible as long as her and Pisces could be friends. She walked up to Aries, twirling her hair a bit.
"Hey, is there anywhere else we could go? Yesterday at Gemini's was really fun," Libra said.
"Let me think," Aries pressed his tongue go the top of his mouth. "There's a nice bookstore on the border of Commetes and Solis we could go to."
"Sounds perfect! Let's get Pisces! And maybe Sagittarius," Libra decided.
Aries shrugged and walked to Pisces room with Libra behind him. Libra was about to politely knock on the door, when Aries whipped it open. He shrugged and yelled into it, "Pisces! Get up!"
"No,"Pisces groaned, his face in his pillow. "I don't wanna."
"We're going to Virgo's, so get the hell up," Aries impatiently told him.
"Which one is that again?" a muffled Pisces asked.
"The bookstore guy," Aries said with a sigh.
Pisces literally rolled out of bed. "Fine. He's cool."
"We'll meet you outside," Aries called. "We have one more person to get."
Aries and Libra left Pisces to get dressed and ready. Or lay on the floor until last minute. Either way, they approached the visiting generals quarters. Libra was about to open the door, but Aries politely knocked on the door. Leo opened it, looking wary and tired.
"You're aware I have the day off from training, right?" Leo asked, looking pretty pissed to be woken up.
"Yes. We're here for Sagittarius," Aries informed her.
"Why? What can he do that I can't?" Leo asked, suddenly more sharp and a lot more irate.
"It's my request, Leona," Libra told her quickly. "I was curious on whether or not he would like to accompany me to a bookstore?"
"Sure," a voice called from behind Leo. Sagittarius shoved her out of the doorway. "Anything to get out of here."
"Perfect," Leo snarled. "Get out."
Sagittarius rolled his eyes and stepped out of the door way. Capricorn walked out from the soldier's bedroom and grinned. Sagittarius glared at him and said, "What are you grinning at?"
"Nothing," Capricorn said. "It's just nice to see she hates someone more than she hates me."
Sagittarius glared again, as he, Libra, and Aries walked outside to meet Pisces. Pisces wasn't dressed in his usual formal wear and his hair was a mess. He yawned and waved at them. The four of them walked to Maple Avenue. The Bookstore was on the corner where a small black boy sat out front. As soon as he saw the group coming towards them, he hopped up and started running.
"Jaden!" Aries yelled crouching down to hug him. Jaden threw himself into Aries' arms.
Pisces crouched down next to them. "Hey, dude. How's it hanging?"
Jaden parted from Aries and gave Pisces a thumbs up. Seeing as Pisces still couldn't speak sign language, he took it as a good sign. Aries turned to Libra and Sagittarius and said, "This is my younger brother, Jaden."
"It's nice to meet you, Jaden. I'm Libra and this is my friend Sagittarius," Libra said happily.
Jaden waved at her and smiled. Virgo came out of the shop and waved at Aries. "Hey! What brings you to my fine bookstore?"
"We're showing Libra around," said Aries, "and Sagittarius, I guess."
Virgo walked up a little further to them. "I assume the lovely lady is Libra."
"Yes, yes I am," Libra said, grinning widely.
The door to the bookstore opened again, only to reveal Cancer in a nice blue dress. "Virgo, I still have to pay you for this book."
Virgo chuckled. "Aquarius does like to read. It's three bronze coins."
Cancer raised an eyebrow. "That's rather cheap."
"Aquarius comes here often enough I gave him a family and friends discount," Virgo said with a shrug. "And somehow he's still my top paying customer."
"That boy never stops reading," Cancer shook her head. "Honestly, even Scorpio's getting annoyed. Recently he's been reading books in Latin."
"I'm not even surprised," Virgo sighed. "He has no friends in the castle, other than you and Scorpio."
"I'm Sagittarius," Sagittarius piped up. He gave Cancer and Virgo a stupid grin and wave.
Cancer spun around awkwardly. "Hello. I'm Cancer."
An awkward silence filled the air. Aries interuppted by clearing his throat. "May we go in?"
Virgo nodded. "Of course." He lead them into his shop, which was much bigger than it looked on the outside. Cancer handed him the coins, which he put in the register. Jaden skipped around the bookshop, leading Aries with him. Cancer walked around a bit, making light conversation with Virgo. Sagittarius stayed near the entrance, watching everyone in it. Libra picked out a particular book and walked up to Virgo.
"What's this one about?" she asked.
Virgo glanced at the cover and smiled. "Ah, a personal favorite. It's about a boy named Harry Potter who finds he's a wizard. He goes to a wizarding school and meets his two best friends and enlist on a wonderous adventure."
"That sounds interesting," Libra said, looking at the next book over. "And this one? Folklore Forest?"
"Two children kidnapped in the dead of night and brought into a world of old fairy tales," Virgo said. "It's okay, I guess."
"Sounds a bit mad," Libra agreed. "Not exactly my style, but I would like to buy 'Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."
"Seriously? Jaden says over in Commetes they call it the Philosopher's Stone," Aries snorted. "You guys are such peasants."
"I think Aquarius would agree with Aries on this one," said Cancer. "We've had debates on it."
"He needs a life," Virgo snorted. "Even I'm saying that, and I've read nearly every book in here."
"Maybe he needs a girlfriend," Libra offered. "What about the Gemini girl? Is she single?"
Jaden's eyes widened and he grinned. He signed something to Aries, who translated it as, "Jaden says Aunty Gem is single."
"She may not be ready to date, though," Pisces mentioned. "She doesn't seem like the type."
Aries glared at him and elbowed him into the ribs, making him hiss in pain. Libra furrowed her eyebrows and frowned. Cancer stood there awkwardly.
"I'm just going to leave," Cancer announced.
After that, they slowly left.
