They had been running for five minutes and Virgo already wanted to die. For Christ's sake, he owned a bookstore, not a gym. Yet here he was, wishing otherwise.

"Do we have a plan?" Virgo called out to the group.

"Yeah, but it requires Cancer making out with Scorpio," Leo called back as they turned the corner.

"Hell yeah, I'm down," Cancer shouted in triumph.

"Not the response I was expecting, but cool," Sagittarius muttered. "Hurry, into the servants staircase!"

Sagittarius yanked the door open and held it open as he urged everyone quickly into it. Leo, Capricorn, Gemini, Aries, Cancer, Virgo. The guards footsteps got closer as he yanked it shut and locked it. He let out a deep breath and looked at Leo. "Your plan?"

"Capricorn will go in with Cancer, claiming she is making a statement of innocence. Cancer will then announce her love for Scorpio, break out of Cap's grasp, and make out with her. That will give us enough time to knock the guards out and take their weapons. Once we have everyone armed, we go in and Sagittarius will day what he's found," Leo explained.

"What if theirs resistance?" Aries asked.

"We kick some ass," Capricorn answered. "Where does this staircase lead?"

"Right next to the ceremony," Sagittarius told them.

"That's convenient," Aries mumbled.

"Not really, I just know the layout of the castle," Sagittarius shrugged. "C'mon, let's go save Taurus and the rest of those assholes."

As the rest of the them crept up the stairs, careful to make little noise, Capricorn looked at Leo. "When all of this is over, would you wanna grab a beer?"

Leo sighed and shrugged. "If we survive this, I'll grab a beer with you. On one condition."

"What?" Capricorn asked, suspicion seeping into his voice.

"It's a date," Leo said, right before walking up the stairs to join the others.

Capricorn was left speechless. He glanced at Leo as she walked up stairs and then frowned. He had to have been hallucinating. He was such an asshole to her at first. And now she actually wants to date him? How did he manage this? To him, she was perfect. He'd never met a girl like her. She was selfless, cold, forgiving, serious, and emotional all at once. And... oh my god she was like his mother.

Huh, he thought. I guess the old saying is true.

That's about when Cancer pokes her head downstairs. She gave him a grin. "Hey, we're waiting for you."

"Oh, yeah," Capricorn nodded mindlessly. "Mission. Right."

"Are you okay?" Cancer put her hand against his forehead, and then inspected him when it wasn't warm. "Are you sick?"

"Worse," Capricorn said, staring at the wall. "I'm going on a date with Leo Solis."

Cancer snorted and put her hands on her hips. She raised her eyebrows. "Didn't you have a huge crush on her?"

"Yeah, but I was such a douchebag I didn't thing she'd say yes," Capricorn admitted, biting his nails.

"The unexpected happens a lot," Cancer said, grabbing Capricorn's hand. She started to pull him gently up the stairs. "Look at me, I'm dating the queen of Solis."

"And now you have to admit your undying love for her," Capricorn snorted as they caught up with the rest of the group. They were all standing by a door. "I hope you're ready."
