Team Time

Y/N pov

As I slowely retain contiousness I can feel my head thumping as my entire body aches. I slowely sit up as I place my hand against my forehead......

Y/N:"MY HAND'S BA-"

3rd pov

Y/N was quickly silenced as Ryuga covered his mouth with his hands.

Ryuga:"calm.....the fuck......down"

Y/N turned to Ryuga with wide eyes, looking at his arm and then back to Ryuga.

Ryuga:"look I'll tell you everything once the teams are made, but for now just enjoy the show."

Ryuga nodded to behind Y/N. He turned around to see that they were high up on a platform watching all the teams be made with Ozpin on the stage. Y/N sat down beside Ryuga and watched with him.

Timeskip

Ryuga:"team RWBY huh?? Not a bad name"

Y/N:"Not a bad team"

Ryuga:"also true"

Y/N tried to get up and leave but before he could, Ryuga grabbed his shoulder keeping him down.

Y/N:"what are yo-"

He was cut off yet again when he looked at the stage and saw Ozpin staring at them.

Ozpin:"and lastly, we have a team of two very skilled Hunters in training. Y/N L/N and Ryuga shall now be on a team, unfortunately there is no way to make a team out of that so.......I shall let you two choose your own. Come to me once you've both come up with something."

Y/N:"but.....I didn't even get an artefact"

Ryuga:"and that's where I came in, see?? We're a great team already!"

Y/N:"A......team...."

Y/N stands up, rubbing his arm as Ryuga stands up next to him.

Ryuga:"let's go check out our room."

Timeskip Y/N pov

Whilst the two of us were walking down the hall, we saw team RWBY and JNPR walk into their dorms.

Ryuga:"I guess they're all spending some time together, we should probably do the same."

I reach put dorm and push the door open, the room was pretty plane with a bathroom, a book shelf, a window and four beds.

Y/N:"I guess they really weren't expecting for there to only be a team of two."

Ryuga dived onto the bed on the left with his legs crossed and his arms behind his head, letting out a giant sigh.

Y/N:"so.....tell me what you know."

Ryuga:"about yesterday?? Well-"

Y/N:"no"

Ryuga:"wadd'ya mean??"

Y/N:"when we met.....you broke into the place I was braking out of.....you must of been looking for something, but you left with nothing......I've worked out all this much on my own.....but I can't figure out anything else.......tell me what you were doing and why. Don't even think about lying."

I sat on the bed furthest from Ryugas and looked towards him. All he did was stay in that same position and stare at the sealing.

Ryuga:"I was......on a mission. The military were working on a weapon. The most advanced they've ever made. It wasn't mechanical at all, it was, a living, breathing weapon. When I got there, I found what I was looking for."

He took out a long rolled up sheet of blue paper and threw it at me. I caught the paper and roled it open. I couldn't believe what I saw, they were plans for what looked like a robot. The only problem was that there were no mechinacal parts. I started reading over everything written on the sheet.

Y/N:"so they read a fairy tale from hundreds of years ago and tried to copy the characters abilities into this weapon?? That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard, just make a laser sword or something. They do know the moon is literally broken right?? Could they not of tried to fix it??"

I stood up to give Ryuga the sheet back when I saw a picture hit the floor. I reach downwards to pick it up and turned it around to look at it.

Y/N:"i-it's......it's me......"

Ryuga:"Like I said, I found what I was looking for "

Y/N:"so....what?? What am I thin!? Just a weapon!? Am I even a real person!? And what about you!? Are you just protecting me now, keeping me away from the military!?!?"

I crumpled the paper in my hands and stood tall, black marks forming on my body as I could feel it burn. Ryuga walked up to me, the two of us standing at the same height as he slaps me across the face.

Ryuga:"whenever those marks appear on your body, you use your powers. Just keep a level head for now. You're not just a weapon you're a person, a person who deserves to live and make their own choices. As for me, I'm not protecting or using you. I'm teaching you, how to control your body and your emotions. Looks like I'm gonna have to work on your people skills too."

I clenched my fusf into a ball as the marks started to fade away.

Ryuga:"that's better"

He took off his jacket and threw it into a chair. He sat on the bed and kicked his shoes off.

Ryuga:"now then, get some rest for tomorrow's classes."

He flopped back down into bed as the lights turned off. I simply just stood there, contemplating over the news I've just heard.
