People have alot of questions about why we're scared of what's in the dark. Well whatever's there is obvioisly the same as what's there in the day, however we still can't see. In the end that's the most important factor in all of this. What you can and can't see. Of course the other question is, what was it that use to be in the dark that people were so afraid of??
