Secret Mission

Y/N pov

I hop down from my window and collide against the ground with a thud. I stand up straight from my crouching position, place my hands in my pockets and walk through the school courtyard. I never noticed how different this place looked at night. There aren't any students running around or shouting at each other. The cold wind blowing against my face and the leaves blowing along with it. I hear a thud from behind me and turn around to see Yang standing beside the school fountain. The wind blowing her golden hair backwards as the moonlight shines on her pale white skin. She leans on her right leg and places her hands on her hips.

Yang :"So, where are you taking me on our date?" 

I look up at the midnight sky and let out a soft sigh.

Y/N :"Why are you following me?"

Yang gave me a cocky smile.

Yang :"I heard you sneak out. You really didn't think I was just gonna let you run off alone, did you?"

I close my eyes and smile for a short second.

Y/N :"Alright then, I guess there's no stopping you. I was given a.....secret mission to do. I guess an extra pair of fists couldn't hurt."

I swiftly turn around and strut forward as Yang catches up to me. I look at her and give her a quick smile. She shoots me one back and places her hands behind her head as she walks.

Yang :"Let's go kick some ass!"

As we reach the edge of the school grounds, I see a letter attached to a tree. I pull is off and read what was left on it.

"I'm happy to see you accepted my mission."

Yang and I got to the edge of the island, the cold wind blowing our hair to the side and hearing nothing but the crashing waves beneath us. Both of us staring at the airship in front of us.

Yang:"sooooooo.....is that air ship ours?"

I shrug my shoulders and continue walking into it anyways.

Yang:"it's empty...is no one bringing you on your mission?"

Y/N:"Before you the only people I had were Me, Myself and I....so...no"

I hop into the front seat and flip a switch to turn the ship on.

Yang:"w-wait do you even know how to fly this thing?!"

Y/N:"Ryuga showed me how to play flight simulator, it can't be that differant right?"

I shot Yang an awkward smile as she jumped into a seat and fastened her seatbelt.

Yang:"This is the most stupid and reckless thing I've ever seen. I love it!"

I let out a deep breath and and start our journey. The airship was rocky, swaying from side to side. Yang grabbed onto her seat as a beeping noise wrung out.

Yang:"We're gonna die!"

Y/N:"Calm down, it's just the GPS. Looks like we stole the right ship."

Yang:"Hey we didn't steal anything, we simply borrowed it. We'll give it back."

I laugh under my breath and keep my eyes on the sky. I tap my thumb against the wheel of the ship and think to myself. Why was I chosen for this mission? Is it something to do with Ryuga? And why did Yang come with me. I wanted to do this on my own. This isn't her problem, what if she gets hurt?

Yang:"Hey tough guy! Look, we're here!"

Yang points forward buts it's just trees and grass. I attempt to slow down the airship but it's not slowing fast enough.
