What Happened??

Y/N p.o.v.

As I walk out of the previous food fight war zone, Ruby jumps on my back. I can feel my right leg start to shake but I pushed through the pain to make sure I didn't drop her. I guess my body hasn't recovered properly from what happened during the food fight....

Ruby:"that was amazing!! Where did you get that strength and speed from!?!? It was so cool!!"

I smile and open my mouth to talk but as I do, Ozpin appears in front of me. Clearing his throat to get my attention. Ruby widens her eyes slightly and pounces off me.

Ruby:"o-oh hey Ozpin!! H-how did you get there??"

Ozpin closed his eyes for a moment, as if he was pondering what he was going to say next.

Ozpin:"I need to have a chat with Y/N...."

Ruby:"oh okay!"

Ozpin:"....alone...."

Ruby:"oh...okay..."

Ruby hung her head, disheartened by what she heard. She slowely walked away with her arms swaying back and forth. Yang punched my shoulder and followed her.

Yang:"try not to get kicked out of Beacon"

Blake followed behind her and smiled at me, while Weiss followed behind her and ignored me.The wind picked up, blowing the leaves across the pavement as Ozpin and I stared eachother down. I nod at him, indicating for him to say something.

Ozpin:"is there....still no sign of Ryuga??"

I wave my hands slightly with a sarcastic look on my face.

Y/N:"I don't see him anywhere, do you??"

Ozpin:"you know you've started to act....differant....since he disappeared."

Y/N:"differant?? Differant how??"

Ozpin pushed his glasses up further and lifted his head up.

Ozpin:"you're...cockier. Almost like you're making up for the absence of your friend."

I sigh with frustration and cross my arms.

Y/N:"is there a point to this or are you wasting my time?"

Ozpin:"you know Y/N, if you miss him that's ok. However I don't want you taking your anger out on the pupils in the school. I saw what happened during that fight. That could have been dangerous."

I grind my teeth and slightly raise my voice.

Y/N:"it was just a stupid food fight, it's not like we were trying to kill eachother. I'm sick of this, I'll talk to you later."

I turn around and angerly walk away. Controlling my breathing to try and calm down.

Ozpin:"hows the burn on your face??"

I stop suddenly and widen my eyes, before quickly disregarding what he said and carrying on my way.

Y/N:"that idiot doesn't know what he's talking about."

I run to the back of the building dorms and sit with my back against the wall, hugging my legs. I try to stop my body from shaking but I can't.

Y/N:"all of this....because of him....because he ran away...."

I close my eyes amd think back to when Ryuga and I would just stay up and mess around in our dorm. He was such an idiot....

Ugh he wouldn't shut up when he had it stuck in his head....

As I softly song to myself, I feel a pair of eyes looking at me.

Y/N:"w-who's there??"

All of a sudden Pyrrha pops her head around the corner.

Pyrrha:"Hellooooooo~"

Y/N:"oh...hey...sorry I didn't mean to disturb you. I'll be on my way."

Pyrrha stepped towards me

Pyrrha:"Y/N wait-"

Y/N:"it's fine, I'll just-"

Beflre I could finish my sentance, she pulled me into a tight hug. I tried to fight it but my body wouldn't let me.

Pyrrha:"Y/N....it's okay...."

I eventually give in and embrace the hug, wrapping my arms around her.

Y/N:"thank you...."
