A Puppet's Grasp {A SasoDei Poem}

shuddering hands

in a puppet's grasp

eyes grow wide

I gasp

I gasp

for air that won't invade my lungs

it's much too much

I'm numb

I'm numb

hold me now

eternity breaks

show me how

I'm late

I'm late

for summer's past

and wooden sheets

you beckon me

I weep

I weep

heart full of air

hands filled with dew

ice melts your lips

I knew

I knew

the day has come

where are you now

fleeting time

I shall

I shall
