Tyler's heart beat was so loud he was sure the bishops could hear it. And if they didn't hear the frantic beating of his heart, they would hear Clancy's loud and careless footfalls.

Tyler started to feel resent well up inside of himself.

Clansy was fearless but he was also stupid. Every footstep he took, Tyler held his breath for a fraction of a second, waiting for them to come and drag him back.

Josh's torch created a small amount of light that only shone a few feet in front of them. Tyler felt it was too much, too obvious. Tyler wanted to be enveloped in total darkness. He was so scared to get caught again.

His hands were sweating and his mouth was dry. Flashbacks of his suffering suffocated him. Clutching his throat, he couldn't breath.

He couldn't think. He couldn't move. All he saw was their bright red hoods and pale faces.

Tyler fell on his knees. He squeezed his eyes shut. Suddenly he was falling forwards and the flashbacks disappeared and so did his consciousness.
