Poem 38

I dreamed it impetuous, formidable and ardent,

A stranger has come,

Shining in the midnight sky,

So beautiful in its fragrance of long hours,

When the first leaves of the year fell,

I heard, with a strangely excited heart,

You will remember the old kisses,

And even the cold pain that was growing.
