Poem 39

85 11 2

When I thought there was no more,

When I believed in illusions,

It was there when you appeared,

When you woke up my sleeping dreams,

Give me what your gaze keeps,

Draw your hands on your skin,

As in the fresh stone,

From the spring, the water,

Open a wide foam lightning,

That's the smile on your face,

Hide me in your arms,

For tonight alone,

While the rain breaks,

You are what is inside me and it is far away,

Fleeing like a chorus of persecuted mists,

Hold me with the strength of your soul,

Take my hand,

Let's go together to look

Our destiny.
