"what's going on, how did you guys even.." lilly went to say but tony shook his head.
"kids decided to stay up with us, even though they have no idea what they are doing." tony said, walking over to lilly and engulfing her into a hug. lilly wrapped her arms around the taller man, resting her forehead in his neck.
"i'm glad you're okay." he whispered, pulling out and turning back to face the crew infront of them. his hand rested on her back for a moment, as he thought of their next move.
"hey we haven't officially met.." peter says, turning to the cape that floated next to him. he placed a hand out to it, only to be ignored as it flew back to its owner.
emma from aside smirked slightly, her and peter had yet had the awkward conversation. though she is confused on how she never figured it out before. stark program, she had heard about it at school yet she never connected it together. her father always told her it was real.
she felt like she was 11 again learning that santa was really tony.
"what now?" lilly breathed out, looking between the crew. they were currently in space, heading towards who knows where.
"we gotta turn this shop around." strange says to her, turning back to see the control panel inside of the strange ship.
"how about a thank you for saving your magical asses?" tony says walking forward, raising his eyebrows, staring at the wizard. "come on, i'm listening." he persists.
"oh thank you mr.stark." lilly says sarcastically, stepping up next to him. he rolls his eyes at her, turning towards the wizard.
"and what now you wanna run away?" tony asks, seeing as strange is over by the panel.
"i want to protect the stone. and thank you for what? nearly blasting me into space?" the wizard questions, unsure of what he wants a thank you for.
"i saved your ass!" tony said, turning to face lilly he sighed, "and yours but that isn't relevant." he said before turning back to the magical man.
"i seriously have no idea how you fit your head in your helmet." strange says astounded. lilly chuckles slightly, shrugging.
"i told you to stay back, admit it." tony says, trying to prove that he was right. lilly was use to this, tony needing to be right. especially in situations it didn't really matters such as this one.
"well, unlike everyone else in your life i wont work for you." strange explains, shrugging himself. tony was slightly taken back. lilly loved this.
emma and peter stood behind tony, arms by their sides waiting to step in and defend who they looked up to.
"now, we are currently in a flying donut billions miles from earth with no backup." tony said, taking his ear piece out as it no longer had a purpose in space.
"hey, i'm.." peter says, but glances at emma and lilly, "we are backup!" peter defends, only for tony to stop him.
"no, you don't belong here! all three of your actually just." tony says, placing a hand on his head, after gesturing to peter, emma and lilly. "be quiet the adults are talking." he says closing his eyes for a moment.
