'What do you mean, you didn't escape?' Katia quieried once the lesson was over. I sighed, cursing myself for letting that slip.
'I was stabbed as well. He thought he'd killed me but he was wrong. I guess you would have thouht I'd be dead after stabbing me ten times.'
Her pretty eyes widened.
'That many times!?' She cried. I was about to tell her about how he'd mutilated all our bodies as well, but decided against it.
'Yeah. It hurt,' I replied instead, and she laughed
'I'm sure it did.' She smiled, 'stating the obvious!'
I found myself laughing as well. I wondered when the last time was that I had laughed like that, it seemed so long ago. Probably when Taiga was with me.
OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo
The school day finally ended and it was time for us to head back to our dorms. As I was heading back I bumped into Katia again. She grinned and waved.
'Hiya Ryuuhei! Come on, everyone is having a waterfight on the field later!' She ran off in the direction of the girl's dorm, presumably to get changed.
I looked up at the sky; despite the earlier rain it had become very sunny and hot. Perfect for a waterfight.
Sighing, I walked the final distance to my room. The other three were already there. Ryan, Ethan and Karl. I recognized the boy with long blonde hair as Ryan, and the one with neat brown hair as Karl, so I assumed the third was Ethan. He had dyed black hair with a light blue streak at the front, and a black lip ring.
'Hey, Ryuuhei!' Ryan grinned. He was a typical surfer. He had long blonde hair, dark skin and bright blue eyes. Karl was the exact opposite; he was small and thin, with small brown eyes and a timid personality. I didn't really know much about Ethan, but he seemed pretty cool.
'Are you coming to the waterfight?' He asked. I nodded, and he punched the air.
'I'm going too,' Ethan grinned, flicking some hair from his dark green eyes. Karl shook his head and muttered something about 'irresponsible idiots' and left.
Ryan took his top off and left the room, shouting 'I'm coming ladies,'. Me and Ethan burst into laughter.
'Has he always been like that?' I asked, and Ethan nodded.
'Yup. Welcome to Little Brook, by the way. You'll love it here!'
I thanked him, and he grinned.
'Are you going to get changed for the fight or what?'
I felt my face redden slightly.
'Oh, uh, yeah, but...'
I really didn't want anyone to see the scars on my torso, male or not.
'Oh, are you embarrased? Don't worry, I won't judge.'
I sighed and reluctantly unbuttoned my shirt. When I looked up at Ethan, his face was pale white.
'Holy shit... What the heck happened to you?'
I quickly pulled on a plain blue t-shirt and let my hair down, before speaking.
'My parents and younger brother were murdered when I was twelve. They thought they'd killed me, but they were wrong. Do you see why I didn't want to get changed now?'
He nodded and sighed.
'Sorry. Its just... I've never seen a stab wound before, I was a little shocked.'
