Hi. My name is Jamie Lynne Marie Hopskins, or The Experiment, The Prodigy, Dark Shadow, but I prefer Jamie. This is an insight into my life, which is very confusing and weird, but I hope you can keep up.
"Incorrect, Jamie! I have been teaching you this subject for 5 weeks and you still don't have the ability to answer the question correctly! You are going fail this test at the rate you're going at!" My math teacher yelled at me. "I'm sorry; miss, but I don't get algebra. I can't understand it, and not to be rude, but the fact that you yell at me loads doesn't help me" I replied meekly, so that she couldn't hear me. "That's it! I have had enough of your cheek! DETENTION! Now stand outside until I find suitable!" My math teacher yelled at me, pointing at the door. I stood up, stuffed my stuff in my bag and stormed outside, before slamming the door. I wasn't going to stand and wait there, I ran out of the school. I didn't know where I was going. I was just going to walk forward. I didn't have a home to go to.
I never had parents. I was found by a couple on the streets and they took me in, but they abused me so I ran away when I was 5 and no-one ever bothered to look for me so I've just lived on the streets. Even when the school asked to see my family, I just said they were at work. I slept wherever I wanted, and tried to make it look like my life was normal so I went to school.
I carried on walking, but I got a few looks off people, so I ran to this park I had been sleeping for a week, and left my bag in a tree and took my tie off and rolled up my sleeves before I walked out the park. I walked through the town, but I started to get a feeling that someone was following me so I started to walk quicker. I kept going at that pace, but I still felt that someone was following me. I got to an open lane, and I could see someone walking really quickly to me, so I started to run. "Don't look behind, carry on running, don't look behind, carry on running" I said to myself. "Duck, kid!" a hooded man yelled at me. I hit the floor, and heard a loud bang. "It's fine to get up now, kid" he said again. I stood up and looked at where the man that was following me was. He was on the floor, in a pool of his own blood. "Oh my god! What happened?" I turned to ask the hooded man. "Something that shouldn't have happened, not to you, anyway. What is your name?" "Jamie, Jamie Hopskins" I said "Did you catch that, Jamie Hopskins" the man said, pointing to his ear. I'm guessing he was talking to an earpiece. "OK. Can you come with me Jamie? You're not in any danger, but you will be if you don't come with me. More people like that will come for you, but they'll be more violent and will try to kill straight away, no matter where you are". I nodded at him "I'll come with you" he nodded back at me and he started to walk quickly, and I had to half run to keep up with him. "My name is Theo, by the way" "OK Theo, where are we going to?" I asked "To the ACB" Theo replied. I didn't bother asking what that meant, I just went with it.
We carried on walking for about another 20 minutes, and then we got to a castle that I'd seen loads of times before. Theo walked up to a keypad and typed in a 4 digit number. He stood back and then said Theo Wallens, Number 642. The large front doors swung open and revealed a very dark looking hallway. We walked in and took a right, leading to a flight of stairs. "There's 200 steps, and the lift isn't working, you are alright to climb it, aren't you?" Theo asked. I nodded, and started a long and arduous climb.
200 steps later, we reached the top. I was totally out of breath but Theo didn't seem phased. I noticed that his hood was now down. He had deeply dark black hair and stunning blue eyes. "You couldn't see my face earlier, could you? Theo said. I shook my head, and he started to lead the way again. We got to an office this time. Inside, there was a man just sat behind a desk. He looked like he had been working out for the past 12 years non-stop. He didn't look that old, but you could tell he had more experience than Theo did. Theo did a quick bow to this man before walking in. "This is Jamie Hopskins, she's the girl that almost got attacked in the street by them" Theo said to him. "Would you care to stand outside while I talk to her, please?" the man said. Theo walked outside and shut the door behind him, leaving me and this man alone. "Hello Jamie. We have never met before and I know that you do not have any reason to trust me, but there is a reason that you were almost attacked in the street. That is because you are born to be a part of our group, and protect the people from him. Jamie, you were born to be an Assassin. Will you join our brotherhood, and help in the fight against the Templars? I will explain more in a bit, but the main p[art is, you will learn to stop the Templars, by means of their assassination. Will you join us?" I thought for a bit, before turning to say to him "I will join the Assassins Brotherhood"
