Assassin Creed Brotherhood Castle, 2014. Jamie's POV
It had seemed like a lifetime since I had been in this castle, but in reality, it had only been four
days. We were forced, first of all, to have a medical examination. Desmond passed with flying colours, nothing wrong with him, but the nurses had looks of concern on their faces during my examination. They were whispering to Each other and kept looking and pointing at while doing this.
We were then both taken to the Master Assassins office. The guide opened the door and I immediately bowed. Desmond followed and repeated, but awkwardly, obviously not knowing what to do. The Master Assassin stood up, making him look giant and began to talk. "Hello, and welcome back, Jamie. We have all missed you these past four days, but now we're glad that you have finally returned to us. Now, your Desmond Miles ,aren't you?" the Master Assassin asked, obviously losing interest in me within 11 seconds. Desmond nodded. " I would like to thank you on behalf of the Assassins Creed. You have managed to save our youngest assassin, which is why I'd like to offer you a place as an assassin. You have the skill and thinking power, and with a little training you can help destroy the Templar stronghold.
Are you going to join?" The Master Assassin continued. Desmond didn't give it much thought. About two seconds later, he said "I'm in".
I wasn't allowed to have any training on the first day back, so I went to my bedroom because I hadn't been sleeping a lot recently. I jumped up the stairs and opened the door. It was empty, but there was a small brown lump on my bed. It was a parcel. I sat on my bed and began to tear open the packaging. There was a letter and another thing still wrapped in paper. I unfolded the letter and began to read. "Dear Jamie. If you are reading this, then you've been found and you're back with the Assassins. I just wanted to say how much I missed you. I've known you for two days in person and I instantly felt like we were brother and sister. I just wanted to give you something to defend yourself a bit more. Please open the parcel now" the letter read, so I did as it said. "This is called a hidden blade. The straps go around your dominant forearm so the blade is pointing out from your wrist. It's easy enough to control and was mine when I first joined the Assassin Order. I hope this comes in useful and helps defend I any future situations. Love, Theo". I put the letter down and then I put the hidden blade on. It was easy to use. Flick my wrist out, the blade come out, flick it in, the blade goes in. "Do you like it then?" A familiar voice said. I turned and saw Theo standing in the threshold of the door. " Is that your favourite place to stand?" I asked him back, before running over to him and hugging him. "I love it! Thank you" I murmured to him.
We both walked out the training yard together so I could try out my new blade on some dummies.theo had set them out so that I could perform a perfect routine if I studied it. I looked for 10 seconds, and figured it out. I ran at the first, slashing across the second before running quickly to the next dummy, cutting open his neck. I did a wall run-up and jumped onto a ledge, before jumping off, landing my blade in that dummy's head. The last one was on a motor, moving up and down. I quickly got into the shadow of the ledge and waited until it wasn't looking, and ran up behind it and stabbed it in the back. I shook the dummy off the blade and looked around. The blood packs in the dummies had exploded everywhere, leaving a red, bloody mess across the floor. "I think this blade works for me!" I said to Theo. "I think you'renright" he replied.
Two hours later, Desmond and I had to go and see the Master Assassin. I asked what for, but all I was told was "a little chat, that's it" I met Desmond at the bottom of the stairs and we raced up to the Master Assassins office. I lost, but I put that down to the fact Desmond said he's had specialist training. We entered the room, bowed and then sat down. "So what this 'little chat' wer're here for?'" I asked. "I need to know a few things. First of all, you were both introduced and used as test subjects for the Animus, weren't you?" The Master Assassin. Said. We both nodded, wondering g where this was going. "We are going to need you to go back I. The Animus, but for the Assassins sake. Your task will be the same, and the Animus we own is more comfortable, and less susceptible to the Bleeding Effect. Do we have your consent?" The Master Assassin asked us. Desmond and I slowly nodded, and the Master Assassin beckoned us to come with him.
We were taken to a lab, much like the Abstergo one, but it had assassin symbols. "Jamie, you're in first" I got told by a scientist. I got strapped in and taken away to another time.
Florence, Italy, 1477. Adrianos POV
I had done it! I helped Master Ezio escape Florence. He said he'd be back soon, gave me a list, and ran out the gates. As soon as I could no longer see him, I opened the list. It said 'chi deve morire'. It means 'those who must die'. Has Ezio given me a revenge list?
