Percy POV
That night, I couldn't sleep for long. The nightmare of the cold place, of the dark wind, of being separated from Annabeth without wanting it, kept replaying in my mind.
I think I was sleeping okay, until midnight. Then I felt an unusual coldness. It came from outside. And the nightmare came again.
During the next hours 'till the moment in the next morning when I fully woke up, it was a constant struggle. The nightmare appeared and I ended waking up, but not screaming, just waking silently. When I made my mind about trying to sleep again, I fell into peaceful sleep. Which was interrupted later by the same nightmare.
The next morning, I discovered that at midnight, we had entered in the Arctic Ocean (thanks to Leo) and that my nightmare repeated itself each hour o'clock.
Cause when I fully woke up, it was 8. And the nightmare had just ended. For the eighth time in the night.
Is this ocean affecting me?
Jason POV
I had a strange dream. I was in a dark space with a transparent ground, like a mirror. I was landing in it and the contact of my feet with it caused some waves of light. Electric light. I started walking without knowing where I was going. All was dark and all I could see were the waves of light that each of my feet made when I made another step towards.
I heard some groans and a far howl. Wolves? I trembled. I wasn't scared of them, but I knew that if my powers didn't work for some reason, I couldn't defend myself. My golden sword wasn't with me.
But I felt I was safe, that if there were wolves, they wouldn't attack me.
I saw a shadow in front of me. I could see it because somehow, I felt it was a different type of dark. It approached me and I saw a glimmer of its silver fur. A wolf. But not any.
"Lupa" I called
Suddenly, it wasn't a shadow anymore. It was a silver wolf. It was her.
"I see your quest is going good" she mumbled.
"Why have you come?" I said. It wasn't the first time she got in my dreams and I knew it had to be for something important.
"Is something troubling you?" she asked. The question caught me in surprise.
I decided to tell her all what happened, especially all what had to do with Alex and the "feeling"
"I have to admit that I may have something to do with that" she said. My eyes grew wide. What? "But it isn't a feeling, it's more like a connection. You'll soon understand it, I'm sure"
"But... do you know her? Do you know who Alex is?" I asked.
She smirked "Who knows, my child. You're supposed to guess it, aren't you?" I nodded "So, it's your task. Yours alone. I'm sure you're gonna guess it. And then, you'll be able to understand that" She turned to leave
"But, what's that?" I yelled
"The connection or feeling as you called it" She said and continued walking.
I woke up. It had been all so strange.
Lupa has to do with this fee... no, connection as she called it. I don't understand.
I have to find out all the truth about Alex.
Little chapter about dreams! We're in the 11th so, 2 for the end!
Please, vote and comment.
And also... in the second book I won't do POVs (probably). I'll probably do it in third person but unlike Uncle Rick does it (each chapter a character's perspective in 3rd person), I'm gonna do like Laura in Memorias de Idhún (I'm reading the second, hurraaaay! lol), chapters with various characters' perspectives.
