Undisputed ERA One Shots

Adam Cole/Roderick Strong (Angst)

Kyle was done showering after their live event match, as he took out his phone, checked if there are any messages. One Instagram post caught his heart and attention to a hold. He quickly dried himself and then put some clothes on, stumbled to the door, realizing he had no shoes on.

"Come on O'Reilly". He got slippers finally, he quickly ran to the lounge where the others waited for him since he took too long in the shower.

"Bobby, I'm telling you, you'll be fine, you got guts, you're Bobby Fish, I'm sure he'll said yes". Adam was talking to Bobby while roddy was eating his 2nd subway sandwhich. "Adam! We got trouble!"

"Kyle? What's wrong?"

"Take a look at this". Kyle handed his phone to Adam, as he watched, and he too, had him choked on his breath for a second. "Shit, when was this?"

"Apparently, it was few hours ago, I have a feeling, they're still here".

Adam gulped as he wanted to grab his bag and leave, fast.

"Well, well, well. Hey Adam. Looks like you're dominating here like the way we used to". Tama was one of the members who had been with the BC since then, and Adam didn't like him much, just instant uncomfortable but he knew how to keep his face calm as possible but he avoid contact as much as possible. Now..it's coming back to him.

"Well, it's way better than I had back then with the others. So, what brings you here?"

Tama shrugged, "Thought i could bring you back where you belong, at the top with us. Come on, I'm sure you heard me and Kenny not talking lately so...besides, it's recruit season, you'll get the first seat".

Kyle stepped up, "Hey! You listen here, Adam not going anywhere, if you're going to get him, you have to go through all 3 of us". Tama was a little distracted, "Is that who I think he is? Roddy! Is that you?"

Adam gulped as he watched Roddy talking to Tama, for some reason, he was already having bad vibes the moment he walked passed him. He watched in horror as he knew Roddy didn't like the BC as much, when Adam got kicked out, guess it was just one of the relief moments.. He was afraid Adam could be, well, won't be that Adam knew if he stayed longer.

The moment Tama was done, he turned to just smirked at Adam, and immediately Adam just rushed to Roddy. "Hey, you okay? Did he hurt you?".

Roddy was a little shaken but he sighed, "He just thought maybe I could convince you to come back to BC, that's all". Adam scoffed, "Well, I'm glad you're okay. You wanna go out? I mean just the two of us". Roddy smiled as he gave Adam a small kiss on the lips, "Sure, just let me shower. Kyle probably used MOST of the hot water so I'll be late a little".

Adam checked his phone, shit, it's like Roddy taking so much time in the shower than Kyle has. He went into check, only to find out there was no one in the shower.

"Roddy? Roddy! Shit.."

When he came back to their locker room, he found Roddy's bag. Everything was there, his spare clothes, ring gear. Fuck..where?

All of a sudden, he got a phone call.

"Hello?"

"Hey Adam"

"Tama? Why do you have Roddy's phone?"

"More like why do I have Roddy with me begging for you to come get him?"

Adam felt his heart dropped, everything around him was black, all he could imagine was the suffering Roddy went through. "H-hey, come on man. You don't really have to do this. We can talk about this okay?"

"Oh come on Adam! It's easy, you rejoined BC, your pretty boy Roderick is all good. That's all we asking for", and he hung up.

Adam was on the verge of having panic attacks just thinking carelessly on what he should do, rejoin Bullet Club? But he is the leader of the Undisputed Era, but Roddy could..shit.

What felt like hours, Adam had to tell his other mates about it and they decided to just go for it. Operation: Save Roddy. They finally meet up with the former BC mates as Adam had to witnessed
Roddy whimpering on the floor, he was tied up like a typical hostage, shirt ripped off.

Adam rushed to him, sliding to the floor, "Roddy! Oh god...Roddy!"

Roddy groaned as he opened his eyes, "Adam?"

"It's me babe. Oh my god, what did they do to you.." Tears streaming down his cheeks, he didn't want this to happen.

"Oooohhh Adam!"

Tama was behind them as they turned. "Adam, don't..".

Adam gritted his teeth as he lifted Roddy, as Redragon took a step infront of them. "If you wanna go to them, you have to go through us".

All Tama respond was a laugh. "Oh you two, all we need was Adam. Not you two, or Roddy.  Roddy was just a bait, so since you look like you got the bait, might as well get rid of it".

"Hey!"

Tanga Loa was behind them and had a shotgun, with a split second, Roddy stepped infront of Adam and got shot right on the guts. The sudden impact made Roddy fall back to Adam's arms as Adam panicked on what he just witnessed. Unfortunately both Tama and Tanga left the scene, leaving the Undisputed Era to the dust. 

"Ah shit! Kyle, go get help!" Bobby took off his hsirt as he helped press pressure to Roddy's gun shot wound. "Roddy, listen to me. You're gonna be fine. Help is on its way. Wake up, keep your eyes open for me baby". Adam was trying so hard to stay strong but his tears says otherwise. Dripping on Roddy's face as his hand reached for Adam's cheek.

"I love you and...Thank you for..being with me". He managed to give a small smile regardless the pain he is going through. Adam nodded as he choked out those words. "I love you too. Just hold on for me okay? Don't worry, everything's gonna be okay".

Unfortunately, Roddy nodded as he blew out his last breath. "Roddy?...Roddy? Hey Roddy, babe? Babe!?"
Bobby checked, there was no pulse left.

"Adam, he's gone". And there it was, the strong cocky facade he used? Shattered, more tears were flowing on his face as he sobs, screaming, just throwing out all those sadness away, but he couldnt.

He loved Roddy till the end.
