After nearly 2 years with the NXT roster, Adam Cole is finally the NXT Champion, his obsession and determination as well as hard work had finally paid off. Everyone in the audience knew this would happen and it was a shock to the NXT's system indeed. For Roddy, he was so proud of him including Bobby and Kyle despite their loss in their respective matches.
Soon they had an interview and Adam was just as excited as Roddy, and out of nowhere, he kissed Adam, fortunately it was just his forehead, nowhere else, especially the lips. AS soon as everyone left, Adam and Roddy had enough time to sit by the audience and just reflect what was going on, they were still surprised by tonight at least.
"You did it and I'm so proud of you". Adam smiled by the comment made by his partner, when he looked at Roddy, his smile suddenly disappeared, "H-hey, you alright?"
Roddy smiled as he wiped those tears, "I'm just so happy and glad to live with you and be there from your worst to your best. I couldn't be more prouder than anyone else, which this made Adam scoffed, "Believe me, you're one of those best moments, including winning the title of course".
"It ain't a competition though I believe the champeen would like a celebration?"
"Oh I would love that very much".
