Ellie pov

I can't help the anger that is boiling inside me as Harvey and I walk back to the car.. how dare she.. how dare my mother just turn up after all these years and just pretend like nothing happened and complain about her life.
Harvey has been amazing with the whole situation he hasn't said much just had his arm protectively around me.

"Thank you Harvey, I couldn't do any of this without you. I love you" I laid my head on his shoulder as we stopped by the car.
"Ellie I will always be here for you no matter what. I love you too" he kissed my forehead and got our daughter into the car. I watched before i climbed into the car, Harvey got in the car and put his hand on my thigh letting me know he was there.

The drive home was quite with Valerie making some adorable baby noises, If someone had told me this would be my life when I was in hospital I would never of believed them. I never thought I would have this, I can't help but smile at how lucky I am.

"Finally" I smile at Harvey as we pulled into our driveway, Harvey and I exchanged smiles as we got out the car, Valerie had fallen asleep, I carefully unstrap her from her car seat, and lifted my beautiful babe out and held her to my chest, i carry my sleepy baby into our home and set her down in her crib.

"My mom said what time do you want her to pick Valerie up" Harvey spoke softly as I walked into the kitchen. "Say 6:30? Only if that's okay, it gives me time to express some milk" I reply Harvey nodded before I was turning on my heel to express.
