Stray Cat (Part one?)

{ Tylers Pov }
In technical terms I was a stray, from kitten-hood onwards no one had chosen me, in the world we lived I'm being stray was weird, people looked down on you, thought there must be something wrong with you if no one wanted you, and hell maybe there was something wrong with me.

Mark had just gotten adopted, three years ago by a girl named Amy, however Ethan and Me were still strays, but Bob and Wade had also been adopted long before us. Of course being adopted an an adult was a little different, it usually meant your mate, was also your owner, the one who took you in usually was a romantic partner to you. Still better them being alone.

Amy let me and Ethan stay with her and Mark while we waited for someone to hopefully chose us to be there's, Ethan was still young, and adorable, so it was surprising no one had picked a brown haired neko up yet.

"Okay guys" Amy said snapping me out of my thoughts, I was curled up on the floor, tired from a day of getting rejected, along with Ethan who was curled up on the chair. Mark was on the couch relaxing with us. "My friend y/n is coming over for a couple of weeks, I want you to be in your best behavior... You too boys" she said pointing at us.

"Okay" I nodded the other agreed too, I wondered who this person would be, I got up and stretched before sitting down and crossing my legs again, Ethan shifted potions in his chair and seemed to be thinking the same thing as me.

A few hours went by and eventually there was a knock on the door, Mark went to answer it. My black cat ears turned to hear the person speak.

"Mark, good to see you" a voice said cheerfully, Amy walked from her computer to greet her friend.

"Y/n come in, come in!" She said.

I looked down at my feet before glancing up at the visitor. They glanced between me and Ethan.

"I wasn't aware you had more then one neko" y/n smiled eyes resting on me.

I took in their looks, they were actually really cute, I felt myself blush and look down at the floor both my cat ears drooping in embarrassment.

"Oh no they're some stray friends of Marks I'm letting them stay here" Amy smiled.

Amy was different then most people, most people cast us aside, and gave us nasty looks for being strays, but she, she cared for us and allowed up to stay I'm her home while looking for owners. She was kind and I liked that about her.

"Oh" y/n nodded "well boy's, I'm y/n you?" They asked with a smile.

"I'm Ethan" he introduced himself, I noticed him putting on his best 'I'm adorable take me' look, of course there was no scent of a neko on y/n so they were up from grabs.

"Tyler" I gave a shy smile toward them.

"Ethan can you show y/n to the guest room please?" Amy asked "I'm sorry I need to finish working" she added to y/n.

"No, its fine, I wanted to rest up a bit anyway" y/n nodded.

Ethan god up excitedly and offered to take their bag before grabbing it and walking them to the guest room, I watched them leave and sighed a bit.

"Awe someone wants y/n to be their owner!" Mark teased.

"Shut up!" I crossed my arms glaring at him.

"Don't get your hopes up too much Ty, y/n has never shown interest in wanting a neko" Amy said before moving back to her office.

I frowned, that doesn't mean I shouldn't at least try right?

{ Y/n Pov }
I followed the brown eared Neko boy to my room and sat down on my bed once I got their. Ethan stared at me, probably waiting for me to dismiss him like a good Neko. I sighed a bit.

"You and Tyler are both Strays?" I asked crossing my legs.

"Yes..." Ethan nodded.

I hummed, lately I had been thinking about getting a neko, I don't know what changed my mind, but Tyler out there almost sealed the deal for me, I wanted one, but did I want Tyler? Ethan was equally as cute, however older nekos required a lot more work, you were also there mate if you took them in, and during heat that could be a lot of work.

I got up and patted Ethan gently, he purred obviously liking the affection "alright I should rest up, you can go" I said taking my hand away he whined a bit but nodded leaving me alone.

I shut the door and laid down. I would have to think more in this, maybe this week could be a trial run, with the strays here, and maybe at the end of it, I'll even collar one of them and take then home with me, maybe...

I slowly fell asleep, thinking about having a neko of my own.

{ Ethan's Pov }
I walked back to the living room, grinning from ear to ear at the small amount of affection I got.

"Y/n pet me" I said answering the question I knew I'd get from Tyler.

I looked up at me, I could tell he was a bit jealous.

"You still have a chance" I said softly looking down.

"I know, but you're cuter and younger, if they take anyone their gonna take you Tyler frowns looking down.

"Maybe they'll take both of you?" Mark said with a bright smile.

"Can someone have two Nekos?" Ethan asked.

"Yeah, as long as their strays I believe they can, at least I think that's how it works" the black hair neko smiled, despite Marks black hair he had white neko ears and a pure white neko tail.

"That would be cool" Ethan smiled.

"Unlikely... But we can hope" I shrugged softly before curling up to take a nap.

The boys seemed to think it was a good idea too because they also curled up in their spots to take a small cat nap to re-energize.
