Every night I lay awake,
Staring at the same old crack,
Over and over until
It forms into something different,
Animals,
Occasionally just the same crack but bigger,
I fear oblivion,
I fear death,
I fear God.
I lay awake because I lost what we had,
The late night video chatting,
The late night flirting,
I'm sorry,
Not sorry.
but our small, small infinity is what I'll always miss,
Some infinities are much bigger than others,
Yours was only as small as a mustard seed,
So thank you,
For our little infinity
