Chapter 19

That night . .

Katsumi POV

"AHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!"

Natsu was surfing on top of a rack of barrels, rolling at full speed. He ended up crashing into a wall.

"Cut it out, Natsu!!!" I yelled. "Are you trying to destroy the inn? If your going to do this at least don't destroy anything."

I looked at the others as Gray and Erza joined Natsu. As I grabbed a cup of water the water in the cup swirled out and hit Mira in the face. I gasped I quickly apologized to Mira who said It was just an accident. I quickly ran to my room to see Kemuri resting. I quickly shook Kemuri and explain what happen earlier.

"Oh! Well that's bound to happen. After all a deity is supposed to control all elements and if you forgot I'm part deity so since we made that contract our power becomes one and now you can use all types of element. Don't worry, you'll get use to it soon like your mother. The only thing is she rarely use any magic after she learned how to control it." Kemuri said and yawned.

Well that would explain the water accident earlier. At least I can put the power to good use. I yawned and fell asleep. The next morning in the arena was enormous globe of water floating in the center of the arena enough to fit almost twenty people in it.

"It's day four of the Grand Magic Games and today's competition will begin! The name of the competition is Naval Battle! Any player who leaves the sphere of water is out!"

"The last person to remain in the sphere is the winner! Last two people get five minutes to battle it out for first place! The teams are entering the water! Cheria from Lamia Scale! Jenny from Blue Pegasus and Risley from Mermaid Heel!"

The crowd went wild when Minerva entered the water. My team tossed me in when we argued who was going and I glared at Minvera. I wore a pair of black shorts with a blue tuba top. There was no way I was going to lose to Minerva.

"From Fairy Tail B, Katsumi has entered the sphere along with Lucy from Fairy Tail A! The rules are simple! If you leave the water, you're out!"

"Go get em, Lucy!" Natsu yelled. "You too, Katsumi! Kick their asses!!!"

"And now! Let the Naval Battle begin!" The gong sounded as the announcer finished his sentence.

"Open! Gate of the Water Bearer! Aquarius!" Lucy yelled as a the blue-haired celestial spirit appeared in the water.

She looked around and yelled "This is MY TERRITORY!!!" as a tornado of water sprouted from the vase she held.

I screamed as it hit me and the water globe glowed yellow. I was flung to the edge so hard I fell out but instead of falling out it stretched like an elastic and flung me at Jenny. Then the globe stopped glowing and Jenny who screamed as I bumped into her fell out of the water globe.

"Sorry!!" I yelled at Jenny who was pouting that she didn't last long in there.

Then I swam and kicked Quarto puppy member out of the battle as he flew out. I waved goodbye after him as he landed in the stands. I turned around to see Cheria headed for me and she attacked.

"Howl of the sky god!" She yelled.

"Heaven Mirror of reflection!" I yelled as a magic circle appeared and it reflected back the attack to Cheria who was flung out with Risley.

"Yeah! New spell learned in an hour! New record!" I yelled happily as I had a new record in learning a spell in the time limit.

Then Minvera attacked me. I dodged her attack and I kicked her in the face. Everyone gasped as I stuck my tongue out at her and high fived Lucy. Then Minvera attacked and I pushed Lucy out of the way and dodged too. Then she aimed for Lucy sending a white-hot energy beam at her. I quickly swam over and pushed Lucy out of the way and took the hit for her. When it reached me I screamed as my skin was getting really hot and blisters were forming. Struggling while getting burned with blisters forming I cast a spell trying to ignore the pain.
