The Pleasure is Mine [Loki x Reader]

Part 9

A knock on the door wakes me up. "Mgg..Come in." My voice sounds raspy and tired. A maiden comes in with a tray full of food. "Good morning Mrs. (y/l/n)! I brought you some breakfast. The wedding conference is in an hour in the dining room. Frigga and Jane hope you will joyn them." She wears a smile, but not because she is happy, no, because she has to. It's so easy to see, that she is a mess inside. Poor girl. "Thank you so much! You are doing a great job! Hope you have a nice day!" At first she looks suprised, but then a honest smile adorns her face. She nobs and walks away. Some simple words can make someones day. Or a really intens book..

Slowly i crawl out of my bed and head up to the shower. Before i leave the bathroom, i look into the mirror to see big eye bags. Not even the tape shape concealer could hide them. I feel so unwell and even if i don't want to admit it, he is the reason why.

I head up to the table, where the tray is. So much food,  but i'm not really hungry, so i just grab a apple. It's a juicy one! I'm not sure if it's just me, but i think this apple taste different then the a apple on earth. Quick i finish my eating and get ready for the day.

My wardrob is full of dressen from asgard. Even tho it's not my style, i do like them. And because i will meet the queen today, i should wear one of those. It's hard to beside, which color.  Blue? Red? Gold? Green? Green!

My hand grabs a beautyfull green-black dress. You can see little glittering particles all over the fabric, but it's still subtle. It fits perfectly and i feel pretty. Now he can cross my way and i won't try to hide.

As i walk along the hallways a lot of maiden pass me and even Fandral. "You look gorgeous Lady (y/n)! What was the reason for your clothing choise? A man?" His eyes sparkles, like he already knows the answer. "No! I am going to the conference. I thought a asgardian dress is more suitable, when i'm going to be in a room with the queen." We keep talking for a while, till i look at the clock. "Oh no. I'm going to be late! Was nice to talk to you, but i have to go!"  Without hesitation i start running.

I burst into the dining chamber and the heads turn to me. "I'm sorry!" My heart was pumpin like crazy and i have sweat all over me. Quickly i sit down and listen to the queen.

"Darcy and (y/n), your bridesmaids dresses are ready, but we need you to try them on and also your wedding dress Jane. The importent thing while the ceremony is, that it will be outside and..."

I kinda feel slepy again. My eyelids get heavyer. Focus (y/n)! This is important!

"Are there any questions?" Frick!

We all nob, even tho i got nothing. Jane is going to hate me! Why now? I just wanted to celebrate the wedding of my longest friend and know i'm a mess, because of the brother of her fiance!
