My feet move fast to the the ball room, but it's not the easiest thing to run in heels. In front of the big door, i slow down and walk into the room. A lot of unfamilier faces and you start watching for Jane or Sif. People are looking at you, some people are smiling and some women are looking pejoratively at you, but you ignore them. You walked through the hole hall and found no-one, so you settle down beside the bar. After some minutes you feel a big hand on yourshoulder. "Lady (y/n), you look amazing in this dress. The color complements your eyes!" Thor, finally someone you know. You both walk a bit around the hall. "It's really nice to see how much you care about Jane, so i thought, i do something good for you to!"He stops and...."(y/n), this is my brother , Loki! Loki, this isa friend of mine, (y/n)!"

Thor thinks i like Loki, because of Darcy! So he thought he could pair me with his brother! Little did he know.. Lokis eyes widen as he sees you and he stands up. Thor looks so proud at his work, so you play along, till one of the girls finds you. You give him your hand and smile polite. "Nice to meet you!" He takes your hand "You do have a voice. The pleasure is mine!" Slowly he takes your hand to his face and gives you a kiss. Thor smiles wide and walks away. You take a seat next to the God of Mischief. Suddenly a awkward silence fills the space between you two. It's simple to see that Lokiis trying to find something to talk about, but is too unsure. "Thank you for helping me finding the way around by the way!" You were thankful for that and for so many other things. "Of course,darling! How could i not help someone as beautiful as you!" His eyes meet yours and you start blushing. "I've been on Midguard and i seen a lot of women, but there was no pretty girl like you! Those creatures are just puny and sad, i mean they think, there strong and special. I can't believe that you came from there! Having the Avengers and they thing nothing can harm them anymore, so naivand dump. Typical Midguardians!"

Anger builts up in your body. How can he talk about your home like that? You stand up raging and just walk away. If you open your mouth, you would yell at him. You can't do that, he's a prince, so you better just walk away. Again you start looking for the girls. Some men comes up after time and ask you for a dance, but you're not in the mood right now. Slightly anoyed you keep walking around with no success. Your way leads you to the balcony. I thought this would be different....I'm bored and feel alone, even tho i'm surounded by people.

You catch sight of a shadow behind you, but don't pay much attention toit. After a while you notice that the shadow is still there and haven't move at all, so you turn around and see to your suprise Loki. He is rubing his hands and looks down at the floor. It's easy to see that he didn't notice that you turned around. „Loki? Why are you here? Do you want to upset me more?" you speak clear and with little anger in your voice. His head goes up and he goes some step closer to you. „I'm sorry for my words! I didn't mean to upset you...I try to be mad at those creatures, but i know, that i'm mad at myself. I'm really sorry! I like you, even tho we never really talk, but you understand me and you're not afraid of me. That means a lot to me, so i would like to know you better." The fact that he likes you, makes your heart jump, but you keep calm. For some reason those words are touching you and you believe him. The way he stands in front of you, the way his eyes look at you, the way his voice shakes as he talks, makes you want to hug him. What is he doing to me?„Okay! I accept your apology, because i like you too, but i still don't trust you to 100%, so don't mess around!" You can't but crack a smile.

„Thank you! Would you like to start with a dance?"
