Today was quiet. Too quiet. You'd think after what happened previously, the mood would be somewhat playful. But, no. Everything was off. Including myself.
I enjoyed my time with Chanyeol seeming as it was different than Taehyung, but I knew it was wrong either way. Two men in one day was not my forte, nor even one—I'd prefer none. My blood boils knowing that I might be a toy. I feel like I'm playing a game of chess, except I'm the chess pieces and the men are the players—they move me, knock me down, and use me for their own advantage in gaining what they want in the end. In this case, I have no idea what they want.
It was raining hard outside. Pitter-patter sounds and thunder were all that occupied the air. I hadn't left my room in two hours after awakening. Many thoughts flooded my head, the first one being how Taehyung was doing. It's been only one day of him being locked inside his own room. I was quite surprised that he—moreover he—didn't try to escape. Another was where were Chanyeol and his men at? They would usually be making some sort of noise (hehe) during the day.
Slinging the covers from my body, I got up from my bed walking over to the door. I opened the door just a crack and peeked through side to side. Nobody was there. Only the sun shining through the window, shadows of rain droplets lingering on the ground. I slipped through my door feeling the cool air make contact with my skin. I wrapped my arms around my body dressed in a satin night-gown.
Walking ever so softly along the hallway path, to the kitchen, my eye caught a figure leaning against the island counter with a cereal box in their hand, their back facing me. I held my breath, not knowing who it was. They chuckled turning around. I yelped.
"Hey! What are you doing outside of your room Taehyung oppa?" I whisper-shouted. A smirk edged playfully at his lips and I covered my mouth in realization of the words that slipped out of my mouth. Why did I call him oppa? I rolled my eyes.
"One of them let me out-" he munched on the cereal, "-and they threatened me to not leave or go into your room so I was like okay gotcha man," he smiled cheekily at me. I crossed my arms.
"Well, where are they? Don't tell me he did something....did he?" I raised an eyebrow. He sighed with a smile still on his face, placing the cereal the box on the counter and sliding his hands into his pockets.
"Of course not. They went out to deal with some gang business or whatever, I don't know, and said they won't be coming back until a few days from now." I let out a small 'oh' while nodding my head.
"They trust me enough to stay with a notorious gang leader, all by myself, and not expect at least a little bit of mayhem?" I chuckled, taking the cereal box into my hands and munching away.
"Yah, Y/n-ah, I'm not the notorious gang leader. He is," Taehyung said, his smile dropping at the mention of his other persona.
"Mm-oh yeah, sorry, my mistake. Please don't be upset," I slightly pouted. He laughed aloud, happiness glistening in his eyes.
My heart paced faster at the sweet sound of his laughter. Oh, how I missed it. I furrowed my eyebrows, slapping myself lightly at my nonsense thoughts. He noticed and pinched my cheek. I swatted his hand away lightly.
"You're still the same Y/n-ah I knew when we were younger," he smiled genuinely. My face engulfed with warmth at how flustered I was.
His hand lingered on my face, cupping it softly. I stared at him confusingly. Though, the look in his eyes told differently. It was as if they were crystal brown pools filled with admiration, love, and any other attractive feeling possible, besides sexual. We stared at each other for a good five minutes before our lips attached.
Our lips molded together, fitting like a puzzle piece. The kiss felt...unreal; in a good way—the way in which you feel like all of your untold feelings pouring out from one single action. The way in which it can't possibly be described through words, but by actions—it was passionate, making my insides tingle and scream like a loyal fan-girl whose waited forever to meet her well-adored idol.
He was first to pull away from the kiss; lips swollen pink, stretched on his face in a heartwarming smile. I smiled without showing my teeth, them being my insecurity. You'd wonder, why be insecure with someone you have feelings for? Well, I'm flustered at this moment so I wouldn't want to ruin it with extra, unhealthy anxiety. I was overwhelmed with many feelings.
I loosened from his grip, slipping away to my room as normal and fast as possible. My body was screaming, thoughts flowing from left to right.
Do I still love him?
. . .
