nora and jack never really talked, they were always at the same the bus stop, but when nora goes through the worst jack, was there and everything changed.
so it's been nine months since I found out i was pregnant with Jacks baby.
I haven't talked to him once.
I'm supposed to give birth sometime today or tomorrow. I'm just sad that this little baby isn't going to have a father. .. 11:54 pm
I yawn as I turn off the tv and stand up from the couch.
I turn off all the lights and head to bed. .. 3:45AM
I wake up in horrible pains
oh god it's happening.
I get up and grab my phone and call an ambulance.
I grab my bag and put on my shoes and very quickly put my hair in to a extra messy bun. .. two minutes later an ambulance pulls out in front of my apartment building.
They help me in and onto the stretcher and they drive away.
"mam, is there anyone we can call? To meet us at the hospital?" The paramedic says
"no." I say
They nod and keep driving. .. They roll the stretcher out of the ambulance and in to the hospital.
"Women In labor! TAKE HER STRAIGHT TO THE DELIVERY ROOM! SHES FAR ALONG!" The paramedic yells and rolls me over to one of the nurses
They push me straight ahead down tons of hallways until they push me in to the delivery room. .. after the birth
I wipe the sweat off my face.
"It's a girl!" The doctor says
I smile.
They bring the baby over to me and let me hold her.
she's absolutely beautiful.
Tears start coming down my face.
"I'm your mommy.." I whisper to her .. Right after that they took her away and cleaned her off.
They put me in my own room and I'm trying to get some sleep when the nurses hustle in.
"Miss Adler? We didn't get a chance to ask you." She says
"What would you like to name the baby?" She says
"Can I see her first?" I ask
They nod and hand me her.
I look down at her. She looked like this.

ember was my grandmas name.
And I decided to keep Jacks name. Even though I hate him for leaving me and this beautiful baby, deep down I still love him with all my heart.
"Ember Camille Gilinsky." I say
"That's beautiful." She says
"Thank you." I say
"You can leave whenever your ready." She says
"Thank you." I say and she walks away .. I look down at ember.
"I promise to you that I will be there for you forever. I promise to protect you like a father would. I promise to love you with everything in my heart. I promise to make you the smartest kid. I promise to tell you every day that you are the most beautiful little girl I have ever seen. I promise to make you happy when ur sad. I promise to be ur best mother I can be to you. We don't need a dad. We can do this together my beautiful little baby girl." I whisper to her
I kiss her on the head and she forms a little smile on her mouth.
