Unknown cop

"Police stop what you're doing! Release the woman or I'll shoot." I watch as the man straddles the woman and is choking her he is ignoring me I have to decide quickly what to do I fire once I aimed for upper body but he moved as I shot and it entered him in the back of his chest, and out the front, he slumps down onto the victim. I call it in that a man is down as that we needed the paramedics as the female victim is unconscious. The paramedics rush in and remove the dead man from her and begin to start working on her, they place her on a gurney and they leave the room, as my sergeant comes in and inspects the scene and I know I'm trouble but we were surprised when the perpetrator coughed and we called another lot of paramedics to come and collect this one too.

"Serge what happened here?"

"Well we will have to find out why Richard had his daughter kidnaped. It makes no sense to do this."

"Well whatever happened here it needs explaining. Well we have the owner Mr Carrington maybe he might want to explain and the victim if she survives maybe she might be able to tell us what happened. Does she have any other kin that we can contact?"

"Yes, we can contact someone and tell them that she's in hospital."

Norman

I'm sitting at the dinner table with Sean and his family and I want to know where my girlfriend and my unborn child is, I'm just looking at the food.

"Norman, I can't imagine what you are feeling, they will find Alex and you two will be reunited."

"I hope so I'm scared that she will...."

"She will what Norman?"

"We are having a baby. Or we were I'm worried that she might lose the baby. She's eleven weeks pregnant."

"Oh, that is amazing, I knew that you loved her."

"Yeah, I do, I brought her a home for our family to grow old in. I want her back I love her, I want what you two have and I can see myself happy with her, even if she doesn't want to get married I am happy just to have her in my life, you know I should send Diane a thank you card for hiring Alex honestly as I said I love her."

"Ah Sean, look at that, Norman is in love. That's so romantic." I looked at Lauren and I saw how happy she was.

I was awoken from my thinking by my phone ringing and I was surprised it was a unknown number and I don't normally answer them but I thought I should.

"Hello?"

"Mr Reedus, my name is Andrew Cooper I'm the detective in charge of the search for your partner, well we have news, you need to get to Dell Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas, it was the closest hospital, Alexandra has been taken there, and I'd suggest that you get there as soon as you can."

"She was found? Oh god yes, I'll be there as soon as I can. Thank you so much."

"Oh you, can thank the victim she helped herself. I will be seeing her sometime soon."

"Thank you." I hung up on him and I would love to know what the fuck has happened what did he mean by Alex saved herself? "Sean, we have to go. They found her."

"See I told you they'd find her. Go on guys go see your girl."

Sean and I headed to the car and drove to the hospital, I'm excited and scared I hoped she was okay. I called mom finally and asked her could she come to the hospital I explained everything as I reached there Sean parked, we ran to the reception area and asked about where Alex was, I was asked if I was family I said her boyfriend, and we were told that she was in intensive care, I look at Sean and we head towards that area. I sent a message to mom before I entered intensive care where Alex is unfortunately Sean couldn't come with me so he said he will call me later and check how everything is.
