2.2 ; truth hurts
The whole reason I left was to protect you. It sounds awfully ridiculous, but it's the truth.
Remember the day I didn't go for coffee? That's when my parents told me something that would change my life forever.

My parents wanted me to get engaged with someone I truly despised. To be honest, I don't even know her full name. She's nothing compared to you. Sometimes I feel guilty for comparing her to you but then I remember she's a bitch, which totally comforts me.
I tried to reject and refuse, but didn't work since they threatened me to sue your scholarship and I know that your scholarship means the world to you, so I had to agree.
Even if it hurts both of us.
I'd rather hurt myself the most than hurt you even more than you do.
