Antonio
It's been eight days since I've seen Ella. She hasn't been to school and her friends won't squeal. So now here I am with the guys, Ana, and Claudia. "Yo! Tony!" Ana shouts, throwing a Chicken Nugget at me. I glare at her.
"What was that for!" I exclaim.
"My fault. I told her to do it!" Gabriel says and him and Zach laugh. Claudia looks like she's trying not to laugh but is failing miserably and just ends up letting out a high pitched giggle. Caine stays silent, giving me a sympathetic look.
"So, why do you look like the Easter Bunny just ate all your Easter chocolate?" Claudia asks after she's calmed down. I glare at her as everyone snickers again.
"I'm not- I don't- shut up!" I snap. Ana gives me a sweet smile and pats my arm.
"I bet he's dreaming about his gothic Cinderella!" Zach teases me.
"She's not gothic! You need to stop making up shit about her!" I snap. Memories from Ella crying and yelling at the man that's supposed to be her father but is far from it fill my head.
"Woah! Shit, man! What has got your panties in a twist!" Gabriel exclaims, eyes wide.
"Aw, shut up, shit head!" Caine moans.
"Hey! You losers need to watch your language!" Ana snaps, giggling, even though she knows we won't listen.
"Nooooo.... You do!" Zach says right as he tackles her to the floor.
"You asshole! You piece of shit! You son of a bi-!" She cries, stopping herself from saying the bad word, as she tries to shove him off. He pulls away some then looks her dead in the eye.
He looks deathly serious as he says, "There's no need to drag my mother into this." And with that, all hell breaks loose. Claudia runs from Caine, Gabriel and Zach gang up against Ana, and I sit and watch, laughing. Everyone in the room freezes as a phone starts to ring, though.
We all dive for our IPhones at the same time.
"Not me!" Ana.
"Nah." Zach.
"Damn. No call from Satan. I was so looking forward to our conversation." Gabriel.
"I never get any calls." Caine.
"Surprisingly, no!" Claudia.
Everyone looks over at me, expectantly. The number is unknown, yet, I click the green Answer button. "Hello?"
"Antonio?" a familiar voice breathes.
"Ella? Is something wrong?" I ask, concerned now.
"Um, no. I just- the police are looking for me and I need someone to come pick me up from the mall..." She whispers.
"Wait, how'd you get my-" I start to say but Gabriel plucks the phone from my hand.
"Hi! You must be the reason why Antonio is all sulky!" Gabriel says, grinning. I reach for my phone, but Gabriel dodges out of my reach as Caine holds me back. Claudia and Ana are literally rolling around on the floor, laughing so hard there are tears trailing down their face. I have no clue why they're laughing.
"No.... he's upset and sulky because the Easter Bunny ate his chocolate!" Zach shouts into the phone.
"What the hell! Antonio! What's going on?" I can hear Ella's angry shout from here. I flinch.
"Are you pretty? Do you have a big butt? What about big boo-" Gabriel starts to babble but Ella cuts him off.
"YOU FREAKING PERVERT! PUT ANTONIO ON THE PHONE! NOW!" She screams.
