Helena is back

A few days later. At the Verdant.

I walked to Dig and Oliver who were standing at the bar. 

Oliver "She was in my house. She made a not - so -veiled threat.  i want extra security around my mother, my sister and Catalina"

Dig "way ahead of you, man"

Oliver "thank you, man"

I walked to them, confused "what is going on'? why do i need security?"

Dig looked at Oliver "i've got some things to do"

Oliver shot him a look. 

Dig smiled at me and then left. 

I looked at Oliver "y? me vas a contestar o no?" 

Oliver "Helena is back in town"

I sighed "Helena as in your crazy ex?"

Oliver nodded "Yes"

Me "and why is she after me?"

Oliver "i don't know for sure if she's gonna come after you but i won't take that risk"

I nodded "okay but what did you do to piss her off?"

Oliver "she wants me to help her kill her father"

I raised an eyebrow "you said no?"

He nodded "yep"

I nodded "okay"

Then i saw Tommy putting a box on the bar counter. 

We haven't talked since he found out our secret.

Me "hey, where you been? the club opens in four hours"

Tommy "i've been dealing with the vendors"

He wasn't even looking at me.

Oliver "no, you haven't."

tommy didn't say anything. 

Me "please, Tommy, can we talk"

He turned to us. 

My voice broke "i'm sorry. We are sorry. But both of us kept this a secret to protect the people we care about. "

Tommy "do you think that's what i care about? what, that my feelings are hurt? you are murders. Killers. the two of you were my best friends in life but now it's like i don't even know either of you"

I looked down. 

Oliver nodded "you're right. Catalina and i have changed. Listen, buddy, now i can explain to you. I can explain to you how and why-"

Tommy "what'd be the point? I wouldn't believe a word of it anyway"

I looked at him and he walked away.
