It's been days since Oliver had left to battle Rha's Al Ghul and he hasn't been back yet.
I walked downstairs and saw Merlyn standing there.
Me "and what are you doing here?"
I picked up one of my knifes that were on the table and twirled them around.
Merlyn asked amused "you think you're fast enough?"
I asked excited "you wanna find out ?"
Merlyn "i only came here to talk "
Me "about what?"
Merlyn "Oliver. I need to know, is he still alive?"
I nodded "He's alive"
Well, we don't know for sure but he's alive. I just know it.
Merlyn "have you heard from him since he went off to face Ra's al Ghul?"
Me "He's alive"
Merlyn "if he were, you would have heard from him by now"
Me "Unless Ra's took him prisoner"
Merlyn "The Demon's head doesn't take prisoners"
Then he walked away.
Moments later Dig, Fel and Roy walked downstairs.
Dig "what did Merlyn want from you?"
Me "He was asking about Oliver. He didn't tell me anything i didn't already know. Nothing has changed. "
Dig sighed "Cat-"
Me "i know you think i'm in denial, but if there's one thing Oliver taught me, taught us, is that sometimes all you can do is keep pushing forward. "
Suddenly Laurel walked downstairs "All right. I've got the ME's report"
Dig "did they ID the body?"
Laurel "Jose Anton. Career criminal with ties to Danny Brickwell. "
Roy "i think Brick severed those ties pretty thoroughly"
