-Third Person PoV-
The entire class was sitting in their seats as Aizawa sensei walked up to the podium. He pulled out some papers from inside of his scarf and read off them before speaking.
"I would start off today with saying directions for the exercise but I have just been informed of a new student. So he should be here in a minute, no, actually he's here right now. Suprisingly you all haven't seen him yet, then again I guess he's a quiet one from what I've heard from General Education."
Chatter erupted throughout the classroom as people searched for the new student. However Izuku was the first one to catch eye contact with him.
The newcomer had purple hair that seemingly defied gravity without the help of hair gel. He also had very tired looking eyes and darkened lavender pupils. The boy raised and eyebrow at Izuku questioningly and his eyes glanced around the classroom.
Izuku whispered at the newcomer, not wanting to start a reveloution throughout the classroom.
"You're the newcomer right? From General Education?"
The boy nodded and spoke up. His tone seemed deep and tired, which his eyes seemed to match.
"Yeah. Seems like your other classmates haven't noticed me yet."
Izuku cracked a smile at the new kid and scratched his chin slightly. His emerald eyes glanced at the people in the room, who were chating loudly as Aizawa sensei tried to shut them up.
"Yeah...They aren't the brightest in the world if I'm going to be honest. But they really are nice people! Anyways, my name is Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me Deku!"
The boy didn't really show a smile which made Izuku nervous a bit. However the newcomer did respond to the hidden question in the sentence.
"Shinso Hitoshi. Call me Shinso for short."
Izukus smile only brightened at the sentence. It seemed like he was actually glowing with excitement.
"Cool! If you don't mind, what is your quirk? B-Before you get the wrong idea it's just a habit of mine!! I love talking and hearing about quirks!"
Shinso raised an eyebrow and smirked, which suprised Izuku. He fidgeted with a pencil in his hands which, suprisingly, Izuku hadn't noticed before.
"I'll tell you my quirk if you tell me yours."
Izuku narrowed his eyes and bit his lip. He desperately wanted to know Shinso-kuns quirk but he wasn't allowed to tell anyone his. The greenette placed a finger on his lip and thought for a moment before making up his decision.
"Ok! My quirk is Full Cowl. When I use it my strength and speed go up depending on the percentage at which I use it at. My body can only handle 5% of it though. If I try to use it at 100% my bones break and I can't use that limb until it's healed."
Shinsos eyes widened slightly at the part where Izuku mentioned that he can potentially hurt myself seriously at 100% full power. However he furrowed his eyebrows and sighed.
"Ok. My quirk is Brainwashing. As you can tell, I can command someone to do whatever I want them to do. However my quirk can only be activated with a verbal response. Luckily for me shouts and screams also count as a verbal response."
Izuku gasped and subconsciously continued his bad habit. In which he pulled out his notebook and aggressively wrote in his quirk and the potential strengths and weaknesses. He smiled and Izuku could tell he was trying to hold back a chuckle. The shorter teen didn't even notice he was writing in his damaged hero notebook.
"O-Oopsie daisy! S-Sorry about that! It's a bad habit of mine!!!"
Shinsos smile shortened itself into a small grin, however it seemed for genuine than the massive smile implanted on his face earlier. Izuku smiled as he could tell that his new classmate was enjoying the conversation they were having immensely.
"Nah, I don't mind you writing in my quirk. It's actually kind of funny since most people our age don't necessarily like writing notes and you have it as a quote on quote, bad habit."
Izuku blushed out of embarrassment and held his notebook close to him. He never really had anyone compliment him on his bad habit so it felt really nice. He twirled his finger around one of his bangs.
"T-t-t-thank you! No one really cares about it, nor compliment me about it!"
Shinso and Izuku smiled before Aizawa sensei slammed his hand his hand onto the podium, visibly agitated. It was enough to shut the entire class up.
"Have you ever heard of listening to the teacher? Detention for everyone except the newcomer!"
The entire class groaned in despair of their newfound detention. Aizawa sighed angrily, ready to say what he needed to say so he can rid himself of this class for the day and take an already needed break.
"Anyways, Shinso Hitoshi, if you can please come up here and introduce yourself to these idiots that would be pleasant."
The purple haired teen nodded and walked over to the side of the podium to stand there. He took a deep breath, a tiny bit nervous.
"Hello, my name is Shinso Hitoshi. I have a brainwashing quirk but I will not be telling how to activate it. You will need to figure it out yourselves. Just in case you are wondering I will not use this quirk on my close friends."
Shinso turned to Aizawa and stared at him, which unnerved the sensei slightly since the teens eyes looked dead.
"May I return to my seat now Sensei?"
Aizawa sensei kept his neutral face and nodded.
"Yes you may. Please just call me Aizawa however. Sensei sounds annoying."
Shinso didn't say anything to that and returned to his seat. However deep in his mind he made a check to not use his quirk on Izuku, since he's already grown on the purple haired teen.
Aizawa spoke up once again, ending the very little chatter that had resumed after Shinso sat down.
"Anyways we will be doing a Capture the Flag exercise with a twist. Get into your hero costumes and meet All Might outside of ground beta in fifteen minutes. Class dismissed."
