A Doves Feather (ShinDeku)

▪~<A Talk About Your Hand Scars>~▪

-Third Person PoV-

Everybody was in their designated locker rooms, which were gender seperated of course. Izuku happened to get the locker next to Shinso so he was pretty much the first person to see him in his hero costume.

Izuku was very quick in slipping into his costume which consisted of a jumpsuit and mouth guard. The hood had been torn off and he hadn't found time to repair it. Luckily the gloves were still intact, so Izuku was able to conceal the stress scars from his new buddy.

Well, that is, if he hadn't noticed beforehand.

Before Izuku was able to slip on his gloves Shinso tapped him on the shoulder. The greenette responded of course, to not be rude.

"Oh, What is it Shinso?"

The purple haired teen spoke up. His tired voice had a slightly noticible worried tone.

"What are those scars from?"

Izuku bit on his tongue slightly as he looked down at his hands. Memories of the U.A Sports Festival flashed through his head and he shuddered, remembering the fight he had against Todoroki-kun.

"They're from the U.A Sports Festival."

Shinsos eyes widened and he furrowed his eyebrows. He spoke once again, trying his best to conceal the worried tone hidden deep inside his voice.

"What do you mean? I didn't see you, or face you."

(Todoroki and Izuku were the first to fight each other in the festival, so he and Shinso didn't fight)

Izuku bit his lip along with hardening his bite on his tongue. He sighed slightly as he remembered the immense amount of pain that surged through his body during the fight. The blood squirting through his skin as he felt his own bones shatter inside of him. It was awful.

"I was the first to fight Todoroki-kun. So me and you didn't meet."

Shinso started to glare at Izuku demandingly, needing to know what happened.

"What happened during the fight?"

Izuku chuckled softly as he felt small beads of sweat drop down his forehead. He didn't want to tell his already worried friend about how his used One for All, or 'Full Cowl' as he told him, at 100% on all of his fingers.

"Oh, nothing. Todoroki-kun had just gone a little harder than I expected and I got my ass whooped. No biggie."

Shinsos glare hardened as he strapped on his mouth guard. His lavender eyes sharpening themselves against the hidden blades of his worry.

"What's 2+2?"

Izuku was taken aback by the sudden math question. He looked at Shinso in worry.

"It's 4-"

Midoriyas voice cut of as his body went still. His eyes faded to a whitened black as he awaited directions.

"Good. Now what really happened Izuku?"

Izuku opened his mouth and said what he was asked to tell. His voice was monotone and seemingly all emotion was drained from it.

"I used Full Cowl at 100% on my fingers multiple times while fighting Todoroki. The scars are the stress scars I got from abusing my fingers alot during the fight."

Shinso then slapped Izuku out of his mind control, since he could do that. Izuku stumbled back a bit with no memory of what he just said.

"W-What happened?"

Shinso sighed and looked at Izuku. His eyes were filled with concern at the greenettes scars. The purple haired teen draped the same bandages that Aizawa uses over his shoulder before speaking.

"You should be more careful using Full Cowl Izuku. I don't want you to try to use it at 100% if it damages your body ever again."

Izuku looked down at his hands, which still held scars from U.A. He looked back up at Shinso with his emerald green eyes before grinning with determination.

"Don't worry Shinso. Now that I know how to properly use Full Cowl at 5% you won't have to worry about me injuring myself with it."

Shinso smiled at Izuku before walking out of the locker room which they were in. He spoke before he fully exited the room.

"Good to hear. Now make sure you keep that promise for me. I worry about you Izuku. Even though we have only just met."

Izuku just blinked at that sentence that left Shinsos mouth. He wasn't able to snap back to reality until the door closed fully. Izuku realized that he also was fully dressed and started running towards the door and threw it open, desperate to follow Shinso since he forgot how to get to Ground Beta.

"Wait for me!!!"
