Fifteen

She swore she stopped breathing that very second. He probably thinks she's a creeper now watching him sleeping like that. I mean that's what she would have thought if it were the other way around.

"I...I'm sorry I didn't mean...I wasn't thinking. I just saw a door and got curious." She spit out anxiously. However, he didn't respond. He didn't even blink as he stared right back at her. His dark blue eyes seemed to stare into her soul as he watched her. Like he was stripping her bare and caressing her with just his eyes. He was a gorgeous man she gave him that, and he had a power over her that no one ever held and that thought alone was frightening in itself.

"Curiosity, huh?" he finally spoke, looking at her with such and intense gaze she felt a shiver run up her spine.

"Y-yeah." Was all she could muster. She had a 3.9 GPA and she stuttered in front of her best friend's brother like an imbecile! How did he do that to her?

He still hadn't let go of her hand, staring at her intently. She felt awkward and embarrassed as he sat staring at her and figured it was time to leave.

"You know what? I'm just, going to uh, go, I uh, sorry for waking you. Um, want to let go of me?" she asked.

"No." he stated simply. Her brows furrowed in confusion. Was he not going to let her leave.

"I'm sorry what?" she asked.

"I said no. You woke me up and I have an extremely hard time sleeping in general, now you can help." He smiled crookedly, and Raelynn could see a hint of the devil in his eyes.

"And how can I help?" she asked both intrigued and weary. He smiled then and let go of her wrist before sitting up, his abs contracting. Her mouth was watering at this point watching him. He looked back at her and patted the bed beside him.

"You want me get in bed with you?" she asked nervously even though a small treacherous part of her leapt at the idea.

"Yes, now sit." He said with such demand in his voice that Raelynn couldn't find herself denying him. She sat tentatively at the edge of the bed, her face becoming hot at the realization that she was in fact sitting in bed with her best friend's gorgeous brother. It took all her control to keep her body from shaking from the nervousness.

"You look like you're barely sitting on the bed." He said smirking at her in the moonlight.

"I-I'm fine." She responded, her eyes drifting down the planes of his chiseled chest involuntarily. She gulped.

"That's not going to do." He said as he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her to him. She squeaked as her hip made contact with his chest, his warmth radiating over her.

"Why so tense?" he asked, his breath against her neck caused goosebumps to rise on her flesh. She could feel heat building low in her belly.

"I'm perfectly fine." She said as his fingers traced a lazy circle on the other side of her hip. It was wreaking havoc on her control.

"Whatever you say." He said as his hand wrapped around her ankle and pulled her down on her back. Before she could blink his head was resting on her belly and his hand was placing hers on his head.

"Rub my head till I fall asleep, I've had a migraine for the last hour." He said, wrapping his arm around her waist. Raelynn's face felt like fire itself as she felt Sebastian's soft breaths through her thin shirt on her belly, his arm radiating heat through it.
