Chapter 8

**Three Weeks Later**

Harry and I were sitting in his car on our way to Holmes Chapel because he wanted me to meet his  family, well more so just his mom, before we had to get back to America and back to my home. I sat in the passenger side of the car, curled up in a ball, looking out the window at the passing sights with Harry holding my hand.

I began to think of the past days and everything we did. We stayed away from the phones, we stayed away from twitter and we were just together, just us, well for the most part. He took me to all the tourist attractions of London. I saw Big Ben and rode the London Eye, and well just about any touristy thing you can think of, I even dragged him and Louis shopping. They didn't go without a fight but it was rather easy to persuade Harry, I mean all I had to do was take away sex from him. Louis was a bit more difficult, but in the end, I remembered his weakness, so I took away all carrots.I got to hang out with all the guys and even Eleanor and Danielle when they were off doing their thing. I remember baking a cake with Louis and Niall late into the night when we couldn't sleep. I remember Liam's twitcams and how he freaked when Louis threw a spoon at him. I remember when Zayn threw a fit because I borrowed his mirror and he couldn't find it. I remember when Louis bought me a wonder woman necklace as a joke and told Harry that he needed to step up his game.Even every trip to get food for Niall, which was often was a memory that I loved. I came so close to all of them in these past few weeks. I can't believe that Harry and I were going back to America in a few days.

We had been in the car for about an hour now and the first thirty minutes were filled with us talking and joking around, like any normal couple. But now it was dead silent, and I was on the verge of falling asleep. Before I knew it, I was out like a light.

I woke to someone shaking me by my shoulders and whispering.

"Come on, Al," Harry whispered, "We're here." I groaned and picked up my hand and patted his face to tell him 'go away and let me sleep'. "Come on love. Mum is excited to meet you and so is Gemma," At the saying of their names, I jerked up and bumped foreheads with Harry, and hard. "OW!"

"Holy shit Harry! Why were you so flippin close?!" I angrily muttered to him while I rubbed my forehead.

"Babe, C'mon," He kissed my nose, "We're already late," Oh so now he was ignoring my question. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up and out of the car. As we walked to the front door, he casually draped an arm around my waist and was about to knock when a black haired woman flung open the door.

"You must be Alli!" She wrapped both her arms around me and pulled me into a hug. I could hear Harry groan.

"What about me, Mum? I'm your son..." We both laughed at him and she completely ignored him.

"It's so nice to finally meet you. Harry has told me so much about you!" I raised my eyebrow at Harry and his gaze shot to the ground.

"Oh really?" She nodded her head.

"Mhmm. Now don't be like all his other girlfriends and just call me Anne or mum!" She smiled at me and then pulled away and lead us into her home.

"Of course," I smiled as I watched Harry engulf his mom in a huge hug as I sat down onto one of the two couches. Honestly, I was a bit jealous of the relationship he and his mom had, it was the kind that I haven't had in years with mine. Harry whispered something into her ear and I saw a small tear sliver down her cheek and she whispered something back to him. You could see the blush rising across his face as he pulled out of the hug to sit next to me.

"So where's Gemma?"

"She went out with a few friends last night and ended up staying with one of them. She's coming home tomorrow," She paused the second she saw Harry's face, "She feels horrible that she isn't able to make it back in time to see you and Alli," He nodded his head in understanding. We hit an awkward silence and then Anne broke it.
