I arranged to meet up with Kai first thing in the morning. He had a lot of explaining to do. I got home and ran upstairs. After putting my phone on charge, I changed into my pyjamas and sat in my bed. I was frustrated and upset, at both Nate and Kai. But, at the same time, I couldn't help but feel happy for them. I was also really pissed off because Kai decided to keep that from me!

*PING!*

I jumped as my phone notification decided to scare the life out of me. I lifted my phone and saw a message from Kai. It read:

"Need 2 talk, cn I come ova?" Oh wow, his typing was horrendous.

I replied yes and set my phone on my dresser.

As I rested my head on my pillow, I heard a quiet tap on my bedroom window. I got up and pulled back my curtains to see Kai standing there. I opened my window and he climbed up the drainpipe, then he quietly jumped in.

"Why couldn't you just use the front door?" I asked him, confused.

"Where's the fun in that?" he said, smirking. He walked over to me and sat me down on my bed.

"I need to tell you something."

*Kai's POV*

I looked at Maya. Her long blonde hair was tied into a plait and she was wearing pyjama shorts. She looked adorable. This wasn't going to be easy for me, telling my only best friend I was leaving for two years. I looked into her shining brown eyes, which were already forming tears.

"Have fun in New York" she said, as she pulled me into a hug. We stayed that way for what seemed like hours. I finally got up and was about to leave. As I stood by the window, I had one leg inside and one out.

"Hey My, come 'ere." I said, knowing that what I was about to do was needed.

"Why can't y-" she couldn't finish her sentence as I planted a deep kiss on her lips. I finished and looked at her. She was shocked. I quickly walked away, It was one of the hardest things I'd ever done.."
