Fourteen: So... Is it a plus or a minus?

“So, is it a plus?” Steven asked.

“It’s… It’s… Negative.” I said, trying to be convincible.

“What?! Maggie, how. The sighs… it… you’re… Why?” Steven asked, his face paled as he looks at my stomach.

“Chill, Look… It’s a plus.” I smiled, opening my palm for him to see. His face lightened as he crashed his lips on mine, feeling the warmth of his breath and the minty flavor his mouth had from eating a candy last hour.

“Oh my god, Maggie, I’m gonna be a Daddy!” Steven said happily as he lifted me up from where we’re sitting and spun me around. I’m laughing as tears blurred my eyes. I’m gonna be a Momma and Steven’s gonna be a Daddy, we’ll finally have a family.

“I know. I’m so happy Steven, So happy.” I said, burying my face on his shoulders, he’s still carrying me and we’re so happy to sit down. I love him, So much.

“He’ll be the cutest baby the earth would ever have!” He whispered.

“The baby can be a she.” I smiled looking up from him.

“What would we name him?” Steven asked teasing me, well… I’m gonna tease him too.

“Maybe… Uh… He can fit for a Dolan Carter.” I joked, remembering Dolan… Steven’s hatest rival, the boy who crushed my heart into a million pieces.

“WHAT?! Okay, that’s the silliest name I’ve ever heard. Enough with the names, good night.” Steven shook his head in disapproval.

“I’m just joking! Uhm, Maybe we can just decide when the baby’s born?” I suggested.

“Well it’s better than the name Dolan.”

I chuckled and run my fingers through his hair and smiled. We’re finally having a baby, Ourbaby. I’ve been imagining it ever since mom and I went off. The image of having my own family is scary, like morning wake up calls, midnight cries, schooling… but at the same time, it feels like heaven. I can finally think of a name for our boy if it’ll be a boy, I still don’t know for the girl, maybe I’ll let Steven decide since I’m the one who decided for the boy’s name. I’m thinking of combining the name of my favorite fictional character… and it’ll be perfect.

As the lights went off, Steven’s arms were around me as I snooze off to dreamland.

“Girl!!! Congratulations!” Was the first thing I ever heard this morning, I opened my eyes to see my voicemail blaring, no Steven around only a note beside my phone on the bedside table. I recognize the voice from Ellie, and Steven’s note contains his perfectly imperfect hand writing.

‘Breakfast on the table baby, pre-heat on microwave if cold. Love you. ~Steven’

I smiled at the thought that Steven took time to cook me breakfast, but before I stood up, I picked my phone up and dialed Ellie’s number.

“MEGAN! You didn’t say you were pregnant!” Ellie’s loud shrieked voice filled my phone, I have to put it away from my eyes to refrain from getting deaf, I don’t want my baby to have a deaf mother anytime in the future.

“Shhhh, Why are you shouting early in the morning and how’d you know?” I asked, sounding sleepy and all.

“Steven posted it on social network, one proud Daddy there.” Ellie chuckled.

“oh that boy.” I smiled thinking that Steven’s super happy to have a baby.

“I think he’s gonna throw a party later, or that’s what Alex told me.” Ellie smiled.

“Really? I guess I’ll go call him and ask about it now. I’ll call you later.” I smiled and shut the phone down. The memories from last night came back to me, I smiled at the thought of having a baby.

Maybe I should call Steven.

“Hello?” He picked up at the second ring.

“Hey Baby.” I whispered, still rubbing the sleep away from my eyes.

“Breakfast on the table, hey… you think let’s throw a party later?” Steven suggested.

“Like a high school party? That’ll be awesome.” I joked.

“No time for sarcasm.” Steven chuckled and I smiled.

“Whatever. I love you.”

“I love you too. Forever.” Steven said as I hung up. I’m too hungry to stay on the phone even though that’s everything I want to do.

A few days after the party, Everyone finally knows we’re having a baby. Yesterday, we went to a doctor’s appointment and confirmed that I was indeed pregnant. She said the baby will be visible for three weeks, we can see a little pea inside me. then we can hear the heartbeat at the fourth clearly. But now, it was two in the morning and I woke up from a dream. I saw Sasha in my dreams, congratulating me and Steven having a baby, but after I hugged her, I woke up hugging my pillow, away from Steven.

I moved near Steven and he wrapped his arms around me. I snuggled closer to him and sniffed his usual smell. The combination of lavender softener and cotton candy filled my nose as I buried myself deeper.

“Maggie?” Steven asked, as he stirred awake.

“Shhh. Just. Hold me.” I whispered. He did held me, so tight, I cannot even breath.

“A- Air… I need Air.” I gasp. He chuckled and pulled me up close. He sat up and I did too.

“You wanna do something we used to do back when we were sixteen?” He asked.

“Like what?”

“Change onto something, like a sweatpants and a T-shirt.” He ordered.

I got up and did change into a sweatpants and a T-shirt, he’s change to into his jogging pants and plain white tee

After like, fifteen minutes, we’re on his car and he’s driving to somewhere I don’t know. Where is he up to?

I'm so sorry, I know it's been a long time since I last updated but  my schedules on tight. I cannot find some time to write this, or my other story. but I will never leave you guys, I promise to finish this even if it took me forever to update. So please bear with me. I promise to write regularly once I'm settled in Canada. Yep, you read that right, WE'RE MOVING TO CANADA!!!! cool right? but I will surely miss my friends here in the Philippines. :'(

I'll visit Maggie and Steven's hometown soon (California) is I have time since Canada and California's a little close, or that's what my dad said. :P

I know it's short, and I left another cliffhanger... but hey, atleast i updated? :P

I have another story waiting to be uploaded. "The boy next door" but I'm not planning to update it yet since I have many 'on-going' stories here. so I'm planning to finish one or two books before uploading it. It's actually a little fun to read, because I have fun writing it too. :)
