I woke up a little early today the surroundings were still dark, The clock says that it was 5:30 am. I saw Steven sleeping on his bed. He never did change… He’s still the same old best friend that I knew. But I’m not sure if we’re together but yeah, we did kiss last day.

I don’t want to wake them up so I slowly make my way to the kitchen to make some morning breakfast. I was planning to bake them some chocolate muffin. Good thing there’s some ingredients on the cupboard.

I washed my face and gargle to wash away my morning breaths. After I prepared the things needed, Skylar got down.

“Hey, Morning.” I smiled.

“Hey cousin Meg. Can I help?” She asked.

“Sure.” I smiled.

We worked together in baking, She was good in following directions. Soon the sun shine entered the windows so Sky arranged the curtains up. It was good to be home.

Skylar and Steven were the only one who slept here, They pleaded Aunt Cora even though she said that we’re going to be busy unpacking but my mother said that it was okay.

Arranging the chocolate muffin on the table and adding some chocolate frosting, Oh I love my skills.

“Go wake Martha and Matt up.” I whispered.

“You wake Matt, I don’t like him.” Skylar said.

“Fine. I’ll go for Steven first.” I smiled.

“Sure you would. Oh hey, give him a kiss. He always talked about how you kissed him in the lips for him to wake up.” Sky giggled.

“He told you? When?” I asked.

“Back when I was ten, waking him up. He said that I sounded like you when I wake him up. Then… He started crying and telling me some stories about you. He did that for six long years.” Sky giggled.

“Poor Steven. But yeah, I did cry always too.” I laughed then she headed upstairs.

Examining what I’m wearing, It’s a grey tank tops and a cotton short. I still wear socks since the air condition was open last night. I pulled my hair into a messy bun and opened the door.

I saw him there sleeping innocently. My word suddenly stopped. God I love this boy. Even though we’re already twenty two I still feel like we’re teens growing up. Walking to his bed and leaning forward. I gave him a quick peck on his lips as his eyes open slowly.

“Good morning.” I whispered.

“Good morning Maggie.” He smiled and pulled me down beside him.

“I love you.” He whispered then I gave him another kiss in response.

“Until when?” I asked him, smiling.

“Forever…” He whispered

“Breakfast’s ready.” I smiled.

“Maggie… Do you still love me?” He asked.

“I never said that I’d stopped.” I whispered.

He helped me stand up and hugged me tightly. I could feel all his longing for me over the years, Even though he didn’t say it in my face. I could feel how he treasure me like everything.

We got down and everybody was already there, Mom gave me a half smile and offered Steven a muffin. He tasted it and gave me a wide grin.

“You like it?” I asked.

“Maggie! This cupcake was definitely the best!” He said.

“You sure you’re not saying that because you don’t want to offend me or something?” I asked giving him a deadly glare.
