[Second Book] The Colony-Story of citizens

Couple hours after The Arrival

I heard some strange sounds outside, I looked out of the window and saw black helicopters approaching to us, there were hundreds, even thousands of them and they were full of soldier with red heads, they were carrying vehicles, some construction materials and containers, god knows what was inside. When all helicopters landed, soldiers secured whole city, built perimeter towers, checkpoints and secured key areas in matter of couple hours. When they finished they called for other helicopters. Helicopters landed in area of the White House and we were told through megaphones to go there, that we will be told about what is going on, that was at 6 am.

So we went there, and we saw some men in suits and guards around them.
Then one of the  men came to a improvised speech table and told us this:

My name is Philip Anderson and I am proxy governer of Washington colony. I am here as representatives of the Transitional Authority.
This state of governance is temporary, don't worry, everything will return to normal soon.
Maybe you are asking, what is the Transitional Authority and where is president of the United States himself or why army was not responding to this situation?
Well, the president and all military assets were aware of this event and were prepared for it.
What is Transitional Authority?
Honestly, all that you need to know is that we are here to help.
If you will help us, we will help you.
We just want to maintain law and order in this colony.
But if you will break rules you will be punished, but not only you, your whole family will be punished with you.
Before we repair all needed services, you will receive ration cards, through these cards you will be given all things necessary for daily living.
One card will be given to each person every month.
Now, to the most important things,
we have prepared IDs for everyone of you, you need to wear it on your neck all the time, on IDs there are all informations about you, name, address, occupation, etc.
All of these informations are needed for transport services or communication services and many other services or actions.
If you don't have it, you will be punished.
In the perimeter of 1 mile around the White House, is located Green Zone. Only government personnel, local workers and redheads are allowed to enter Green Zone, if anyone will try to sneak inside, he will be punished.
Another very important thing for you to know is that from 8 pm to 6 am curfew is in progress, for all citizens in the whole colony, no exceptions. Only redheads are allowed to be on streets during curfew, if you will be caught outside, you will be punished.
For better security during curfews, drones will assist to the soldiers.

So, since tomorrow ration cards and IDs will be given to you here, since tomorrow you have two days to report in your jobs as usually.
