It was around 27.975 minutes precisely, upon the arrival of their meals. All smelling absolutely delicious and cooked oh so beautifully by the look of it.

John's typical roast dinner, topped with gravy. Greg's healthy Caesar salad topped with olive oil.

It was absolutely perfect.

John smiled upon them all being served up their dishes, picking up his cutlery.
"Mhm... smells delicious." He hummed happily. As did Greg when he picked up his cutlery.

Mycroft’s eyes lit up at the sight of his lamb cutlets, sipping a little of his red wine as he picked up his cutlery and immediately began to eat. Though it was very different from Sherlock’s reaction as he stared at his plate, glancing at everyone else’s meal before his own. He slowly picked up his cutlery, Mycroft watching closely for a second as his little brother began to eat in front of people which Sherlock had difficulty doing. He smiled as he saw he was doing okay, noticing just how much of a big influence John was on Sherlock and a bloody good one too.

“So, John, who long have you got left to recover until you can begin work again?” The government official asked with a small thoughtful frown, pausing as he took a sip of his wine.
"Ideally, I could be working back at the general practice now actually.." John paused, cutting up his Yorkshire pudding, "however, me and Sherlock negotiated that I'll start once we know it's safe with everything that's going on.." he smiled, before moving on to cut his meat and vegetables up.
"How is your relationship holding up?" He asked softly, looking up momentarily at the couple in front if them.
Mycroft glanced to Greg with a blush at this as he cleared his throat dabbing away the debris around his mouth.
“Well, I hope.” He chuckled as he glanced to Greg with a warm smile hoping he felt the same.
Greg shared the blush and nodded in agreement happily as he ate a little at a time,
"M-hm.. yeah definitely." He murmured happily, although a couple of complications had arose over the past few weeks.
"You two?" He asked in reply.
"Yeah, great actually.. even if we did have that little scare, we're okay now. Aren't we?" John replied, looking to Sherlock as he took a bite of food.

Sherlock glanced to John at this and he warmly smiled as he swallowed the remainder of the food in his mouth as he nodded.
“More than okay.. I love you...” he hummed before leaning forward and placing a kiss to John’s lips. It cause Mycroft to smile warmly at that and at Greg’s response.
"I love you too, Sherlock.." John murmured back, kissing back momentarily before beginning to eat.

Within half an hour all four men finished their meals, with few exceptions of left overs. A warm wonderful glowed filled the air and the was a nice sense of happiness in the atmosphere.
John laughed happily, sipping at his water as they all shared a few stories from the Holmes Brother's childhood and spoke about some of the most baffling cases they had come across. Overall, it was like one small happy family.

Sherlock has enjoyed it more than he thought, heart happy as he held to John’s hand under the table, still protective and aware but much more relaxed than last time.
“Hm.. I’m just going to the bathroom.” He smiled to John, placing a quick kiss to his lips before getting to his feet and heading off.
"I'll go as well.. need to drain the olde, you know.." Greg stood moving on swiftly after the detective, following him into the gents.

John couldn't help but sit back slightly, looking at Mycroft with soft facial features and blue eyes.
"Everything alright?" He asked, sending there was something on the Elder Holmes' mind.
Mycroft watched as they headed off, watching closely before he heard John ask this and he soon turned with a sigh as he leaned forward a little.
“I’ve.. come to a predicament. I need advice as I am not sure if it would be a good idea but I need to give it a try...” he rambled as he began to dig his hand into his inside blazer pocket.
"What do you mean?" Questioned the blogger, with his head tilted and his brow slightly furrowed as he watched the official curiously.

Mycroft didn’t answer instead he pulled out a small black box... big enough for a ring. He stared at it with deep red cheeks before glancing up to John with a sheepish grin.
“This is my predicament.” He hummed quietly, not needing to explain it when it sort of spoke for itself.

John looked at the black velvety box as it was placed on the table, blinking a little as he felt a little shocked.
"I.. uh, a proposal?" He stumbled over his words a little, glancing back up to the official,
"I have no experience in that kind of thing.." his eyes were a little wide, "how could I possibly be of help?" He panicked slightly.
Mycroft glanced up from the box to John at this, frowning a little.
“You’re telling me you never have thought about marrying my brother?” He questioned before getting back to the topic at hand.
“I just.. is it the right time? Would he want... this? I don’t want to be a fool and I don’t want to make Gregory uncomfortable either.” He whispered slightly, glancing to the bathrooms before back to John.
"Not entirely.." John sighed, at Mycroft's first question. Looking back to the box once more,
"But what I will say is, I can't make decisions for you.. you have to make them yourself. If it feels like the right time and he really loves you, go for it.." He suggested softly, hearing the bathroom door open once more and quickly passed the box back so Greg and Sherlock wouldn't see.

Mycroft soon took the box back, slipping it into his pocket just as the two other men sat down, Sherlock sitting down beside John with a loving smile, slipping his hand into John’s again. Sherlock was never the touchy type, but being with John, made him feel like he needed contact, to feel him close and always.

"Everything alright?" John asked, letting his hand fall into Sherlock's happily as the detective sat back down. Offering a smile towards him.
"Yeah, everything's fine." Greg replied as he sat down next to Mycroft, biting the inside of his cheek slightly,
"Everything okay with you guys?" He asked, looking between John and Mycroft slightly.

Sherlock smiled towards John as they sat closely beside each other, blue eyes bright as he admired him but it soon faded as he realised the look between Mycroft and John.

It caused the government official to sign as he turned to Gregory, his eyes full of love and admiration for the grey haired man.
“Gregory... I love you. I can’t deny my feelings and emotions for you and I want to prove to you that... you’re all I need...” he dig his hand into his pocket, pulling out the small box again, causing Sherlock’s eyes to widen in utter disbelief, not quite believing that his older brother was doing this.
“Will you marry me, Gregory?” He asked softly with the most hopeful eyes.
