It was the day before we go back to school after our summer holidays. I was dreading it I hated school. I got bullied everyday by a group of boys that were popular.
I heard a knock on my bedroom door.
"Abigail it's me Ash" the voice said.
"come in bro" I said about to sit on my bed.
The door opened slowly and Ash came in. He sat on the edge of the bed.
"What do you want" I asked wondering why he was In my room.
"Am I not aloud to see how my wee sis is doing or is that against the law now" he quized and gave a wee chuckle
"Against the law" I laughed
He hugged me. He thought he knew all about my life. If I had any trouble he told me just to go to him and he would sort it out. But I didn't he didn't know I was getting bullied, he didn't know I had no friends. He really really didn't know me at all.
"Dinners ready sis oh and the boys are here we are going to be practising so we might need some feedback you up for that" he questions while walking out the room.
"Okay I will be down in a minute and hell yea I am up for that" I scream
I get up from my bed and go into the bathroom, I take a tank tee through with me to change into. I put it on and go down stairs. I hear the boys laughing I got to the bottom, they were already eating. I go through to the kitchen and get my food Ash made me.
"By the way Abi, mum is out on a business trip she won't be back for at least a week she thinks, so you have us to keep you company" Ashton says excitedly
"Okay am going to miss mum at least dad is out of our lives now I hated him he was just so cruel to her and I want to see her happy" i sadly say not feeling hungry any more.
The guys had finished there food. I was in the kitchen cleaning up and doing the dishes. I heard someone behind me I look round to see Calum.
"Do you want a hand I could dry the dishes" he askes politely
"sure the quicker I get them done the quicker I can come listen to you guys play and the sooner I get to my bed unless you guys keep me up" I give a wee chuckle
"You know it might just be us keeping the guys up Abigail" Calum says as he looks up and smiles.
"It's Abi I don't really like getting called Abigail" I say trying not to make eye contact with him
we both stand there awkward and soon Calum leaves to go set up and tune his Bass.
