"i'm having a lot of fun." jimin smiles, taking a bite of the cake the chef made for him.
"that's good, it's your birthday." hoseok grins slightly, taking a piece of the cake.
"i'm glad i got a birthday hat. i asked jungkook to get me one and when i woke up, there was one on top of my washed hospital pajamas." he grins happily.
"i envy you, you know?" hoseok continues to eat.
"why?"
"because you have friends, even if they're not real, to rely on. you're almost happy wherever you go and you appreciate all the small things. must be nice." he chuckled dryly.
"i know being here sucks. i don't want to sulk my entire time here. of course, i want to be happy and actually feel genuine happiness. that's why i trust in my friends, including you, to help me find happiness in the smallest things. we could just have regular lunch here and i'm happy." jimin explains.
"you've taken your meds?" he changed the subject.
"yes, why?"
"i don't see you talking to your other friends."
