Part Five

"Harry wait! Let me at least explain!" Shouted Elaine as she rushed after Harry down the hall, Draco trailing after her as he threw on his shirt.

"Come on Potter it's not as bad as it looks!" Draco shouted. Elaine sprinted forward and finally caught Harry's sleeve and he turned to face her.

"What the fuck are you doing Elaine?! Malfoy, really?? Are you just another one of his slut bags now?!" Harry shouted in frustration and anger.

"It's not like- Were not even- Just listen Harry, what you saw was a one time thing. It's not going to happen again! Do you really think I would get involved with the likes of this foul git?" Said Elaine, gesturing to Draco who stood with a calm expression on his face. Surprised Draco was not now offended, Elaine continued. "It was really nothing Harry.. just caught up in the moment is all."
"Fine, fine.. just don't talk to me for a while." Harry grumbled and ripped his arm free from Elaine's grasp. "And stay the fuck away from her Malfoy!" He added, then took off down the hall slipping on his invisibility cloak as he went. Elaine turned to see Draco smirking at her.

"Well that sure pissed Potter off." Draco said with a chuckle.

"Oh, what are you smirking at? This isn't exactly funny!" Elaine yelled in frustration.
"You're cute when you're mad, you know." He stated plainly. "Did you mean what you said? Was that kiss a one time thing?"

"Well.. I just... I don't know. Why?" Elaine answered, now flustered.
"No reason, I was just looking forward to the next one." He replied smoothly. Then without warning he leaned in and gave her a quick kiss on the lips, before turning and heading back to the Slytherin Dorms. "Night!" He called over his shoulder.
"Night.." Elaine answered weakly.. Still stunned that Draco Malfoy had kissed her...again.

Draco's P.o.v.
Draco walked back to the Slytherin dorms caught up in thought. "Was Elaine right? Had the kiss meant nothing?" Of course Draco didn't want to get involved with her! She was a Potter for Merlin's sake.. but he couldn't help but love kissing her. He reached the dorms quicker than he had expected, and he stumbled inside. Instead of making the effort to sneak back to his own bed, he crashed on the couch, but didn't get much sleep anyway. The next day Draco decided to skip potions, in an effort to avoid Elaine (and her prick of a brother), but as he shuffled to his next class he turned the corner and ran right into Elaine knocking her books to the ground. Draco quickly bent down to pick them up. "Sorry." he mumbled .

"Its fine. Hey.. um where were you this morning? You weren't in potions." she said picking up her books.

"Oh um yeah.. I just was too tired to deal with Snape this morning." He answered rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"Yeah I can understand that. Soo sense our paper is due tomorrow do you think we could meet in the room of requirement after dinner to go over everything one more time, and I can make sure the conclusion is okay?" She asked with a slight smirk.

Draco's mind went into overload. "Is she flirting with me? Does she actually want to meet to 'go over our paper'? Just answer her. Say something, say yes." After a solid argument with himself, Draco finally answered. "Yeah sounds good, after dinner. Okay see you then."

"Great. See you later." She smiled and walked away.

As he watched her walk away he realized he was in love with this girl. "Oh shit.." he mumbled. and he took off to get to charms on time.

Elaine's P.o.v.
Elaine sat at the Ravenclaw table during dinner without eating a thing. She was too nervous. Why did she ask Draco to meet her in the room of requirements?! She was losing her mind. She glanced up at the Gryffindor table to see Harry still glaring at her in hate. No doubt he had already told Hermione and Ron what he had seen. Elaine just stuck her tongue out at him and went back to staring at her full plate. Immature? Sure, but it made Elaine feel better. After dinner Elaine began making her way across the castle to the room of requirements. As the door came into sight however, a rough hand grabbed her arm and began pulling her down the hall. "Harry! What are you doing?!" Elaine shouted as she struggled against his grip. She finally broke free and turned to face him. "What are you doing?" she yelled again.

"I can't let you do this! I know you're meeting him in there." He answered

"Yeah to work on our paper!" she shouted back. Harry scoffed.

"Please. who meets in the room of requirements to 'study'? C'mon You know what will happen. Your one time kiss will turn into a one time make out session, and then before you know it you're sleeping with him! You're just doing this to prove you're not some little kid. Aren't you?"

'You really don't trust me do you? And why do you care anyway?! Who cares if I kiss him or sleep with him? What if I like him? What if he likes me back? You can't control this Harry. See you later." and with that Elaine walked into the room of requirements, to find Draco already waiting for her.
