Hayley's POV

Thump.

Thump.

"What in the hell?"

Thump.

Ugh, I better go check this out. What the hell? It's 12:30 am. I walk to the windo and opened it.

"Hello?" I asked nervously.

"Pss, down here."

"What the hell Lydia? Why are you at my house at 12:30 in the morning?"

"Get ready." Lydia said with a mischievous tone.

"For what?"

"Hayley just put something nice on, like party nice and don't complain. Be down here in 10. "

"What the hell? Fine hold up."

What the hell is Lydia doing here? I swear if she takes me to that stupid jock party that's today I will kill her! As I go start to open the window, a rock hit me right in the chest.

"Lydia, what the hell?" I snapped.

"Sorry I didn't see you," Lydia explained. "I thought you were still inside. "

"Ok fine. Here, catch the duffel bag!"

Thump.

"Oww!" Lydia cried. "What do you have in here, rocks?"

"No. Clothes, shoes, make up, and hair products for tomorrow."

"Fine get in the car before people see us."

As the car drove off all that I was thinking about was where in hell is my best friend taking me. Lydia turned on the radio, and there it was my song. The song that was dedicated to me long ago by him.

"Run baby run!

Don't ever look back!

They'll tear us apart if you give them the chance!"

The words spat out of mine and Lydia's mouth. This was our favorite song by We The King's. Check yes Juliet. We keep singing,

"Forever we'll be, you and me!

Check yes Juliet, I'll be waiting, wishing, wanting yours for the taking.

Just sneak out and don't tell a soul goodbye.

Check yes Juliet here's the countdown: 3, 2, 1, now fall in my arms now.

They can change the locks, don't let them change your mind."

This went on till the song ended. Lydia busted out laughing. This song was so meaningful to us. We sat there quietly and looked at each other, exchanging week smiles. Then Lydia turned to the wheel and kept driving.

Lydia's POV

Shouting lyrics to Check Yes Juliet never felt so relieving. It was always a favorite song of Haley and I, as well as Malcolm.

We pulled into the driveway of Zach's house. Zach is just a regular jock that's Matt's best friend.

"You ready to rock and roll?" I asked Hayley.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

"Let's do this!"

We walked in the house and we were greeted with drunk assholes.

"Hey babe, where have you been all this time?" Some creep asked me.

"Go to hell." I responded with a push.
