CHAPTER II ENTERING THEIR TERRITORY

The capital belongs to the Silver Lowlander pack's territory. It has an area of 25 square kilometers with 1.6 million humans. You can imagine how dense the population is but the Silver Lowlander have definitely adopted to it. They mostly live on Silver Lake Hacienda on the edge of the capital with a conservation of huge forested area where they are able to run as wolves without human knowledge. Due to gene mutations, the wolves sport a beautiful huge Akita Inu features with thinner silver and white combination hair. Their thinner hair makes it perfectly acclimated to the warm country but most importantly they can pass as an exotic huge domestic dogs free to roam in the country.

This feature makes it possible for them to pass as dogs instead of wolves. As wolves are considered a feral animal compared to their domesticated cousins.

The usual big joke is to initiate newly turned werewolves to walk as dogs with an older werewolf in human forms. Boy, they like to laugh at the stupid humans. They definitely do not know what's among them.

The Philippines is a paradijs for the unnaturals in the southern hemisphere of the world. Due to the thousands of islands, packs are confidents of their areas which cannot easily be invaded by other packs. They are also more prosperous as they are living a longer life in the islands for hundreds of years compared to the human inhabitants. The natural mountains and plains and the islander's attitude in life just makes it easy to mingle among them without detection.

Alpha Jake's POV

“Beta Russel, we got a Ietter from the Grand Alpha Xander of the Golden Pearl Pack. It seems that they have an omega enrolled in Worldwide University by the name of Skylar Sanchez. What do we know about their pack?”

“Oh ho. That pack is from the Western Vissayas region. They are a strong and prosperous pack living in Luna Pearl Hacienda. That's their territory registered with the humans. They are smart enough not to get the attention of the government for external audits but their furniture business is an international comapany.”

“And they are sending a mere omega to study in the capital?”

“Since your father asked me to find out more, I found out that they are running their pack in a way different from other packs. Their Alpha is always older than 25 years old instead of 18 when a wolf matures. They adapt to the school system here & are sending their members to different university in the world.”

“So are there any chances of planning a takeover of the capital?”

“I doubt that. The future alpha and beta Alex and Bernard are studying in New York. I doubt an omega is planning an attack,” chuckles Beta Russel. “She may come looking for a mate though. I hear they have difficulty in finding mates and their clan indeed have lower population rates than us.”

“Uhgg! An omega! Why do we have to meet her formally then?”

“Their Alpha and Beta  are accompanies the parents and the girl. They want to assure her safe passage though in our territory for about five years for her study. Probably the oldies doesn't have enough to do in their provincial life. Maybe he may just want to roam around the city for young girls if you know what I mean?”

“Ha ha ha ha!” Alpha Jake rumbles. “I think that's indeed just what they want in pretence of accompannying a damn omega.”

“We can offer them a good time clubbing to show the way. To see their reaction if you want to find out for sure. They can choose any human. This city is just too big and the choice meat is more than enough to choose from.”

“Remember though Russel that this still an official visit. We do not want to insult them. I don't know if they are a good ally potential as this is heir pack is so far away. We do not have to ask our omegas if they want to date her. It's not like she's a sister to an alpha or a beta. She's a nerd I guess. But his might be fun. Nothing is going on with other packs this time around."

The Silver Lowlander pack thinks they indeed own the country. Admittedly, they are gorgeous clan and as always, arrogant as well. The city boys meets the provincial nerdy girl is what they are expecting to meet.
