Chapter 5

You walked into your next class with Katara, Sokka & Toph. They had almost all of your classes with you, too. Zuko, sadly, was included in this class, too.

It was biology & you saw Aang wave. You smiled as you went over to him, feeling a bit awkward. But, you also felt butterflies inside your stomach.

You smiled shyly at him, "Hi, Aang. I've made more new friends today."

He smiled brightly, very happy for you, as he looked at the group of three, he stood up as he ruffled your hair lightly, causing your heart to pound in your chest, "I'm proud of you, cutie! You deserve it,"

You looked up at him as you smiled brightly, introducing him to all of them. You all sat near one another as you all talked.

"Aang, how's your first day of school? I mean, I've heard a commotion going on that happened between you & (Y/N)." Katara spoke out as she looked curious. Your cheeks flared red as Sokka looked at you both in shock, "Wait, you two were the infamous love triangle story that's going on?! I heard that Zuko was apart of it!"

You covered your face in your hands as you sighed, "And that's apart of the long story I've mentioned earlier."

Katara pats your shoulder as Aang pouts & furrows his brows lightly, "Yeah, I kissed, (Y/N). I enjoyed it, but I... Feel bad," He turned his head as he looked at you sincerely, "(y/n), I'm sorry that I kissed you like that out of the blue, you were my first haha."

You were already lost for words - he enjoyed the kiss & you were his first kiss!

You shook your head as you looked down at your desk, "N-No, don't apologize... I-It was my first, too. B-But I didn't mind either," You could feel the heat rising from your chubby cheeks as you adjusted your glasses, slowly looking back up at him.

His face... It was deep red.

You blinked as the other three watched this small love blossom.

Sokka looked as he smirked at you both, "Do I see a popular item going on?"

You & Aang looked at each other as you both blushed deeply & looked back at Sokka as you both said, "N-No!" 

Sokka smirked wider as he watched you both, "Sure,"

You sighed as Aang sat back in his seat, looking at you as he smiled shyly, "... I'll try to make her mine, though."

You blinked as you blushed even more, the room feeling more like a hot oven, "Eh?"

Aang gave you a toothy grin, "I like you, (Y/N). I like you a lot. But, I'll wait for your choice,"

You couldn't help but smile as you looked back down at your table, your heart beating hard & loud in your chest. You hoped no one could hear it.

Class began as everyone begin to watch the lesson as the teacher spoke about chemicals. 

You felt a poke as you turned around a bit, Aang held out a small letter to you as he smiled & winked. You blushed lightly as you secretly take it & turn around fast.

You opened the letter as you saw a hand held out in front of you, "Ms. (L/N), hand me the letter."

You blinked as you looked up & you swallowed, "uh... Um..."

He raised a brow as he takes it from you, "It's really unlike you to pass notes, let's read what is says, hmm?"

You blushed along with Aang who rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. As the teacher began to look at it, Aang stood up as he raised his hand, "Sir! I'll take full responsibility for that letter! J... Just don't read it, okay?"
