Chapter 13 (Final)

I lay on my bed. My mother gave me hugs, and kisses once I returned. I thought about everything I went through.
Jeff, The bear, the man who tried to kidnap me, and Toby. I wish... I could be in his arms. Forever. Me and him.

I wonder how Jeff is holding up... he is my friend, but I do worry about him.

My mother opened my door as I thought about what had happened. "Kali... the police told me you ran away." She softly said.

I nodded, ashamed. "Why? Do you not like it here...?" She asked me.

"I like it here it's just...." I sighed.
"It's just...?" She echoed.
"Nothing important." I said as I looked out the window.

She nodded, slightly and closed the door.
I can't believe it's over. Everything... it's all over. I probably won't see Toby ever again - Even though he promised.

I hugged my knees and sat on my bed in my new clothes I had put on. I started to shift around, and out of no where - I started to cry.

~Time Skip 4 hours~

I changed into my pajamas, and lay under my covers. My mother walked into my room. "Goodnight, Kali." She kissed my forehead.
"Night, mom." I nodded to her.
I saw she hesitated. "I won't leave - I promise." I fake smiled.
My mother smiled back, and left my room. I don't think I have seen my father home, maybe he got a hint and left.

I was dozing off when I heard a sound outside. I sat up, and looked out of the window. I saw one figure, standing outside. I squinted to try and make out who that figure was... Suddenly it hit me - It was Jeff, he seemed nervous, he stared at my window; I'm pretty sure he saw me because I saw him smile.

Jeff... he's okay. I couldn't help but smile back. I felt so happy when I saw my friend. I dashed out of my room, and outside.
I slowly walked to him. It was a pretty cold night, which made me shiver.

"Hey." He greeted me.
"Hi." I hugged him tightly. Jeff didn't move, he just froze - The expression on his face was too good. I swear... I saw him blush.

I finally pulled away from him, I saw in his eyes... His eyes, full of surprise.
"You... y-y-you hugged me..." He stuttered.
I slightly giggled. "Yeah? So?"
He stayed silent, I saw his happiness, that's the first time I have ever seen him like that.

~Jeff The Killer's Point Of View~

She... She hugged me! She actual hugged me... I was too shocked to even speak. I actual felt... Happy... This is how happiness feels?

"How did you find me?" She asked.
I hesitated before telling her, "Toby told me." I shrugged.
Kali just kept smiling. "He told me to tell you, he loves you." I told her nervously.
I didn't like telling her someone else loved her - When I actually had feelings too.
She hugged me again. "Thank you!" I didn't know what to say... Another hug. All I wanted was this to last - forever. She pulled away.

"I'm happy to see you again... I-I was worried about you when you left like that." She sheepishly admitted.
She missed me? She cared about me? She was worried about me? I never knew she felt this way... It made me feel... Special...

I glanced away. "I have to go now." I sadly said.
I saw the sorrow in her eyes. "Do you have to?" She groaned.
"Yeah... i'll see you around though." I shrugged.

She just nodded. I bit my lip, and was tempted to kiss her cheek. I gulped and kissed her cheek, she looked up at me. I slightly smiled, and began to walk away. It was only a friendly kiss on the cheek... I hope she understood that.

~Kali's Point Of View~

Jeff began to walk away. I couldn't believe he actually kissed my cheek... I hope it was friendly. It probably was. He didn't like me, only as a friend. Yeah... Only as a friend.

I lay on my bed. I was very tired about this huge adventure I have been through. I yawned and began to drift off into a peaceful slumber.

I was happy I ran away, nothing could be better than this.
