"Party. Tonight. 6pm. Jimin's house. Be there."

The familiar voice of Kai, Jimin's friend, echoed in the hallway as Jungkook put his books for the day away into his locker.

Kai continued to repeat the words which slowly became inaudible to Jungkook as his eyes sauntered off and landed on Kim Taehyung.

Why was he still torturing himself by always looking out for Taehyung? Why did a little part of him hope he would find Taehyung giving him an apologetic look and then saunter over to him, saying he was sorry.

Jungkook did not hope to get back together with Taehyung. He knew that would never happen. Even if Taehyung came back begging flat on his hands and knees, he would say no.

Dating Taehyung was like inviting heartbreak to be a guest in his own heart. He would never be happy with Taehyung because Taehyung was a guy who would never be satisfied with just one person, at least not yet. And Jungkook knew Taehyung just wasn't the one for him, just as he was perfectly sure he was not the one for Taehyung.

All he wanted was to hear the words, 'I am Sorry,' to sincerely leave Taehyung's mouth and to be referred to him. He wanted to believe Taehyung had at one point in time actually felt something for him and to realise he had been wrong all along, that he had hurt Jungkook a lot.

He wanted to know that Taehyung had respect for him and his feelings, then he would forgive him. He would feel so much better and not as miserable he was.

Taehyung discarded him like last year's thrash, without a second glance.

It was totally unfair that he had to feel such a way.

Jungkook's head snapped to the right, jolting him out of his thoughts as he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Kai was standing next to him, with a grin smile.

"Party tonight at Jimin's place. Be there?"

"No, thanks, Kai. I'm good." Jungkook flashed Kai an apologetic smile before shutting his locker and walking away.

Class for the day was as slow as it had always been for Jungkook, dragging as sluggishly as Jungkook's life currently felt.

During lunch, Jungkook sat in class, because going to the cafeteria was of no use. Since Jin had left and he had had no contact with him, Jungkook seemed to eat very little. He had lost his appetite and would only eat a few bites of food just to stop his growling stomach but besides that he never felt hungry.

"Why don't you come to my class after school, Sunny? You know I still need that tutoring."

Looking backwards, Jungkook saw his classmate, Felix, relaxed into a chair, legs sprawled, with hands ontop his groin area. His lips were momentarily trapped in between his teeth as he eyed a female student sultrily.

"And how much are you going to pay for the tutoring, Felix?" Her tongue grazed over her teeth and her hands went to lift her skirt a little higher.

Felix shifted in his sit, probably getting aroused by her teasing.

"Whatever amount you want, baby," He huffed.

Scoffs and laughter erupted from everywhere in the classroom.

"Perv!" Someone coughed.

"Felix, how many of our classmates are you going to smash, huh?"

"Do I smash as much as Kim Taehyung? He's my idol, my man," Felix smirked.

Jungkook swallowed the lump of betrayal and slowly turned away. No matter how much he tried to drown out their appraisal voices of Taehyung's number of conquests, the words still sipped through to his hearing.
