Monday morning came faster than Jungkook could snap his fingers.

For the first time in a really long time, he had been excited to go to school.

By 7:30, he had already dressed up and was downstairs eating cereal for breakfast. He wanted to experience what it felt like to have a normal school day with no extracurricular stress activities like panicking or crying in the bathroom stall.

For the first time, the only problem he would have to worry about would be probably failing a question or two on a test.

Before leaving for school, he excitedly sent a text message to Jin wishing him a wonderful day too.

The hallway in school had just began to fill up when he entered the building. Smiling from ear to ear, Jungkook sauntered to his locker, putting in his lock.

The locker clicked open and he opened it. An envelope glidded off and floated to the floor. Jungkook pranced about trying to catch it before it hit the floor, but being bad at catching things, the envelope glided to the middle of the hallway.

Jungkook dived for it, just as an emo girl in all black and thick eyeliners stepped over it. She swiveled, walking backwards.

"Mhm, a love letter," She teased, chuckling lowly before turning around and strolling off.

"No, no, it's not!" Jungkook waved frantically, turning red in his face. He snatched the paper, walking back to his locker, shaking his head.

Who put that there?!

He shoved the paper back in his locker before anyone else would see it and tease him. It was too early in the morning and in his good mood to be embarrassed.

Jungkook sorted out his books for his classes, still eyeing the envelope. It was purple colored, and smelt exceptional.

Jungkook wanted to leave it there, but was too eager to see whom it was from. Hopefully, it was neither from Jimin or Yoongi. He didn't want to receive letters from either of them.

Maybe it was from Jin hyung! Jungkook thought, immediately laughing at how low the possibilities were. If only Jin were a few years younger and attended his high school, things would have been mucj better and easier.

Jungkook bit down on his lip, thoughts of Jin in high school flooded his memory. How had Jin been back then? Had he been just as sweet and kind? Was he the type that stood up for weak students? Oh! Maybe he was the nerdy type, always on his own, observing but not saying anything.

Jungkook giggled.

He couldn't even imagine Jin as a nerd. Jin had so much style to have been a nerd, or a loner. He must have been Mr. Popular, just like Taehyung. Girls and guys must have chased after him, stalking him to his home.

Jungkook jumped when a finger prodded his shoulder. He swiveled to find Yoongi looking at him.

"Oh," He sighed, then smiled at him. "Yoongi. Hi."

"What's up?" Yoongi nodded at him. "What's so funny?"

"Mh?"

"I mean," Yoongi's eyes danced around the hallway, as he shoved his left hand in his pocket using the right to support his full weight against the locker. "You were laughing about something."

Jungkook's inquisitive look shifted. He bit his lower lip trying to contain his threatening smile. His cheeks hurt from the amount of blood rushing up there.

He shook his head. "It's nothing."

Yoongi raised a brow. "Sure?"

Jungkook nodded, "It wasn't even that funny," He mumbled, sniffing and looking away.
