Chapter 15

Last time on 'The Translator':

Mr. Bang: Yoongi.. We're going to Japan.

"Yoongi.. We're going to JAPAN?!" I cried out and some people sitting on different tables stared at us in confusion as Yoongi shushed me.

"Y/N, calm down.." Yoongi said while he seemed really anxious himself.

"How.." I whined, my hands trembling a little. "We need to see Mr. Bang!" I whispered.
"Yeah, you're right! This is important!" He nodded and confidently stood up.

"Sir, ma'am?" We heard the waiter's voice from behind us and we simultaneously turned to face him as he left two dishes on our table which we recognised as strawberry-flavored cake. "Were you leaving?" He asked us.

Yoongi and I both looked at each other for a second or two and then shook our heads. "Nope!" I smiled awkwardly.

"Oh great, bon appetit!" He bowed and walked away, leaving us alone with our dessert.

"I mean.. Japan can wait, right?" Yoongi said and quickly sat down his seat, taking a bite out of the cake. I laughed, feeling a little more calm and began eating as well.

Hey, don't judge us, we just love strawberry-flavored cake..

After we had finished our dessert, we quickly got up and raced to Yoongi's car in cold sweat, almost tripping over the stairs.

"Wait, you forgot to pay!" One of the waiters yelled, running after us. Yoongi stopped and threw a big amount of money out of his pocket.

"This is too many!" The guy said.
"Keep the change." Yoongi said as we finally got inside the car in a hurry and drove away with the speed of light. Oh boy...

Yoongi's Pov

"Hey, slow down!" Y/N yelled at me as I raced past several cars down the highway, going full speed.

"I can't, I need to know what's the meaning of this!" I said.
"What if we die before we get there!" Y/N whined and held onto her seat.
"At least Mr. Bang won't yell at me for sleeping too much anymore." I giggled at my joke and Y/N grinned as well as we continued our way to Bighit.

After a few minutes of me almost crashing into other cars and Y/N's soul almost leaving her body we finally made it to the building and ran inside together.

"Mr. Bang!" We said at the same time, breathing heavily as Mr. Bang, who was signing some papers in his office, turned around in confusion.

"Y/N, Yoongi.." He began but we padded closer to him.
"Japan? We're going to Japan?!" I told him with widened eyes as we sat down the chairs that were located in front of his desk.

"What he said!" Y/N nodded, moving her legs up and down in fear.

"Calm down, youngsters. Take a deep breath.." Mr. Bang calmly said and breathed out himself as Y/N and I were about to have several heart attacks.

"..Now, as I was saying." He began. "Yoongi has been invited as a guest star to the Japanese Music Awards in 5 days." He continued. "But.. We need to fly to Japan earlier since I have some buisness meetings there, so we're leaving in a few hours."

My jaw dropped and I sat back the chair, trying to process what was going on. I.. was invited.. to the Japanese Music Awards? Wow, that's really important for my career.. Maybe we will finally be able to promote more in Japan.

"Woah.." Y/N said and Mr. Bang sighed.

"I was just notified about some changes in our schedule so you guys better go home and pack your stuff.. We have work to do." He commented and turned to face me.

"However, if you're not okay with it, please tell me so I can cancel our plans." Mr. Bang considerately said.

I stared at him for a few seconds and then turned to Y/N who was also staring at me, noticeably stressed. Performing in Japan and branching out there would be really positive for my growth as an artist.. And I would get paid a lot, which would secure mine and Y/N's future.

"Splendid." He smiled.

Y/N also smiled and clapped in excitement. "Japan, here we come!" She giggled and got up to hug me. I wrapped my hands around her and lifted her up while hugging her. I'm glad she's happy, I am happy too.. I thought as my cheecks warmed up.

"Now, now.. save that love for later and go pack your things. Our flight is in 3 hours, don't be late.. Y/N." Mr. Bang said and Y/N giggled at his remark.

"I won't, sir!" She saluted him like a soldier and ran outside while I followed her to my car.

Y/N's Pov

After packing our things, we joined Mr. Bang in one of his limos and drove to the air station. I have never been to Japan before, but I'm so glad I got to come with Yoongi here. I hope everything will go smoothly.

"Alright, put your face masks on and let's go." One of the guards told us and we did as he said, walking out of the car.

Several fans were there to take pictures of Yoongi even though it was 3 am. Well, that's dedication.. I thought and smiled a little.

"Yoongi oppa! I love you!! Please marry me~!" One of the fangirls screamed, running towards us. Luckily enough, the guard held her back and I smiled at her and moved on. Sorry girl, he's mine.. I said under my breath.

Finally, we reached the airplane and walked up the stairs. "How about you join me in first class this time?" Yoongi asked me and I giggled. "Sure, Mr. Agust D." I smirked as I walked after him.

The pillows here are actually softer and the design looks more elegant. Damn, rich people are so lucky.. I thought as I laid down, getting ready to sleep.

"See you in Japan." Yoongi said and laid down next to me, gently holding my hand near his chest.

"おやすみ!"
